Close to airport is only benefit

Posted Sep 17, 2015
Old, barely clean room. No shampoo. Expedia did not provide enough details.

I've stayed in seedier hotels in my life but not recently. The only positive is its location close to the airport and the free shuttle.

not so cheap hotel

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: location close to the airport and rental car facility.
Cons: This is an old hotel and not much that could be done short of tearing it down and starting over.
Location: We just used it as an overnight and didn't do anything there.
I went with the cheapest price and did not expect much. Expedia said that I got the cheapest price at $99. However, while I was registering, I herd the clerk quote a price over the phone of $69. I think I got hosed.

It was smelly and dirty. The worst inn to stay in.

Posted Aug 24, 2015
We got to the inn late due to our night flight. The clerk directed us to the room at 2:30 am. we had the shock of our life when we opened the door. The room was smelly, the carpet was soiled. Hadn't it been so late we would have looked for another hotel.Nothing

Worst hotel ever. Filthy! The walls and doors and carpeting were disgusting. Made it hard to go to sleep or walk around in bare feet. Bathroom was clean.

Pros: close to airport and had a shuttle
Cons: A bull dozer?
half a star. From the state and type of facilities I think it was in Psycho movie. The bed had no comfort, the springs were almost poking through. I was reuctant to use the shower. There was a microwave and a fridge, BUT no coffee making facilities, shampoo etc. CRT box TV, not a flat screen Although the place looked clean, it looked sleezy. It IS close to airport, staff were friendly and as a stop close to the airport for an early flight it met the criteria. We were only interested in the basics but this would be the MOST basic we have used.

Our room was dirty.

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: The people at the front desk were helpfull
Cons: The place needs a complete do over
Location: There are many hotels with ok restaurants within walking distance.
This hotel need a cleaning crew. I had to put a towel down in the tub to shower due to the worn out tub. We had TV on and off. The walls were dirty as well as the carpet.

There is a Way to Think About This

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: price, location, airport parking, desk staff, airport courtesy driver.
Cons: Replace furniture with Ikea. Ceramic tile the bathrooms. Get rid of all the dark wood. Replace all the exterior doors.
Location: Denny's down the block. Overhead walkway to access airport just down the street. Cheap (airport) parking.
This goes under the heading of you get really cheap parking, by day, by week, by month....how long you gonna be gone? and they throw in a bed. If this room was in a KOA you would say great, it's better than the ground and a sleeping bag. It's all relative. Everything clean. Modern conveniences. It is just very, very old. And it is furnished with what looks like rental return furniture. It feels like it is a family owned business that the family uses in a way that takes the least amount of money out of their pocket. It works for them. But there are other properties on the strip with cheap parking, that I would choose next time. This just feels too much like indigent housing.
