Highly recommended!Posted Nov 24, 2015
Pros: Location, Location, Location
Location: Perfect location for all the downtown attractions, everything we planned was within walking distance and the views were great from the Hotel.
We had a group of 4 attending our first NFL Game between the Seahawks & 49ers, this hotel was very comfortable, clean & quiet....we will most definitely stay here again.

Great time in SeattlePosted Nov 24, 2015
Pros: I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: maybe extra waiting staff on days that they know they will be busy--eg game day!
Location: great location close to good restaurants--Cutters, the Pink door, the Market, the Piers and the stadium.
Enjoyed the Seattle Marriot Waterfront--close to the harbour, the Market, and great restaurants. Doormen were courteous and helpful and the front desk staff very hospitable. Rooms were spacious and the cleaning staff were prompt and courteous. They were very friendly and appeared to love their job. The Hook and Plough had a great breakfast buffet but the staff appeared a bit disorganized or perhaps they were missing a few staff because they had empty tables but a long line up. Loved the lobby area--two fireplaces, lots of comfy chairs and little nooks to sit and relax.

Waterfront AccessPosted Nov 17, 2015
Pros: Valet service, location, and cleanliness.
Cons: Quiet the fan that sounded like a runaway train. Don't call a roof view a waterfront view. Mention that the refrigerators are disguised as dressers.
Location: Superb, with access to Seattle waterfront and Pike Place Market.
Enjoyed the location with easy access to waterfront spots and Pike Place Market. Valet service was excellent. Disappointed in a noisy fan that we had to turn completely off to sleep. Desk clerk said we had a "waterfront view" but the view was of the flat roof below. (By craning off to the left there was a peek of a slice of water.) $8.50 for a bottle of beer seemed excessive.

Seattle Marriott - The Best!Posted Oct 29, 2015
Pros: The skill and friendliness of the staff. All desk and restaurant personnel were top notch.
Cons: Nothing. The building is what it is. Many of the balconies are small. You can stand on them - but not sit.
Location: The location is right on the water. You can walk to the Market and to Argosy Tours. Many fine restaurants in the area. Chocolate tour.
We usually stay at a different hotel on the waterfront, which we love. However, the package that we found for the Marriott was such a bargain that we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. The hotel was lovely, but the service was impeccable. We stood in line for less than 2 minutes to check in when a gentleman appeared and apologized for the wait. He summoned another desk person - again - it was less than 2 minutes. We had an early flight and did not expect an early check in. It was not immediate, but it was more than 2 hours early when we were in our room. They stored our luggage going and coming. They went above any beyond in anything and everything.

Hotel near the bay and Pike Market PlacePosted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Close proximity to the Pike Market Place
Cons: All is good
Location: The hotel is near the pike market place. There is a restaurant across that faces the bay.
We booked the room with bay view, when we arrived we were given a room which the window opened to a building across and you really had to turn your neck 180 degrees to see the water in the bay. I called the front desk and asked the room to be changed. The front desk manager found a bay view room with a balcony for us and changed our room. The hotel is about 2 blocks away from the Pike Market place. there is a steep hill that you need to climb to get to the street level. There is a public elevator to the street which is open only until 11 pm. There are plenty of restaurants once you get to the market place. If you want to see the first Starbucks store go around 8 pm. There is no line and you get get in and out very quickly. Also there is plenty of parking then. The hotel otherwise was great. Somehow the rooms that are allocated to Expedia are usually the not so desirable ones but you can ask to change. Parking is at $50.00 per night with all the taxes with in/out privalges. Nest time i am in Seattle I will stay there.
