Awesome anniversary trip!

Posted Feb 26, 2017
Stayed in a deluxe water view king room. Spectacular view of downtown and the harbor. We enjoyed watching the birds and boats and clouds (and an otter) from the armchairs by the fireplace, from the bed, and even from the bathtub. One wall on the bathroom is French doors that you can open so you can have a view while soaking in the claw foot tub. We also are at the restaurant 6-7 which served great food, both seafood and land food. The waiter was excellent. We wanted to know about nearly everything on the menu, he was very gracious, explained and described the dishes and made recommendations with being patronizing at all. We took our dessert to room, and I accidentally flipped the chocolate mousse off the plate into the bed. Really moussed up all the sheets. We called housekeeping, and they were there in literally 2 minutes and changed the bedding. Fabulous service all around!

Not likely to stay again

Posted Feb 25, 2017
They did not have our room available that we booked online. Instead we were put into a tighter room with a rollaway. View was nice, but none of what they offer (Nothing complimentary!) was worth 200+ and a $100 deposit+ $45 parking fee + $10 WiFi fee. Every tiny thing is charged for, and not even having had the room we specifically requested upon booking made it not worthwhile. The restaurant is good & has a good kids menu, but very slow & very expensive for what you get. I think a $50 steak should include a dinner salad, or bread at least. Also, music choices are the opposite of relaxing. The gift/coffee shop is open until 6 I believe, but the staff running it said the coffee wasn't available an hour before closing, and I tried to get a latte at 5pm. So that was disappointing. Not very close to attractions and shuttle doesn't show up on time or in a timely manner after you call. The only real plus to this place is a unique, pretty ambiance aside from crappy music, and the view. But it's not worth the money. We found plenty of great views and much better places for the price closer to the waterfront and close to the space needle.

Only downside to this place was the parking. Really expensive in my opinion. Aside from that everything about this place was amazing. Beautiful view, beautiful setting and an awesome room. I really love the photography, color and lighting of the place and the staff was very nice. :)

Mattress are horrible

Posted Feb 21, 2017
When you stay at a hotel of this caliber you would expect a nice mattress. This is Motel 6 quality. Really a shame. Ruined my whole opinion of an otherwise nice hotel.

I love staying at the Edgewater. Really relaxing views and comfortable rooms and well situated for visiting attractions and restaurants in Seattle. Easy commute to the ferries and attractions on the waterfront.

Overrated

They charge extra $50 for one night parking, no bath tub, city view was not satisfying compared to the money paid. Overall rate is so so.

Great staff but noisey

Walls are paper thin. Heard everyone around us and the train. Great food and drink as well as views.
