El Gaucho In provides all the comfort one would expect from this renowned fine dining establishment. Located on the second floor above the restaurant, the lobby has a cozy den, comfortable leather sofa seats, a magnificent fire place, and complimentary wine in the lobby starting at 5pm. Front desk was courteous, professional, and friendly. The room has a single high end leather recliner and 2 person sofa couch, crazy comparable. Plush queen size bed, Bose speaker with mounted 30ish inch TV, closet, and bathroom with shower.

Loved this hotel. From the valet, to the front desk, to the shuttle driver, to the service @ aqua. Our experience was great! Room 8 was spacious and clean. Love the personalized notes left. True gen in seattle!

Retro 50's lounge lux boutique hotel

Posted May 1, 2017
Pros: Great personal service, nothing too much trouble from the delightful hosts. Room 9!! The view over the water from the corner room. Comfort and lux.
Cons: OOh nothing.
Location: 1st ave, easy walk to nearby interesting cafes, bars and stores and uptown, Pike place and the waterfront. If you love to walk a city - perfect.
I wanted to stay here 3 years ago - and so glad we did! 4 nights in lux comfort, complete with club lounges, the softest , highest comfy bed, and treats delivered to surprise us. Small hotel, with stairs up to private fireside lounge and lobby.

Nice Inn with a great walk score

Posted Apr 25, 2017
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Inn for 3 nights. We enjoyed the home-y feeling of the staff and the atmosphere. We arrived very early - around 8am, and were able to get a room at that time instead of waiting until 3PM check in. We really enjoyed the layout of our room - the suites are spacious and we enjoyed the vaulted ceilings and windows. The bathroom is a bit small for a suite, so that is the only thing I would have liked to be bigger (the shower is standup shower, no tub). Additionally, we would have loved to have a microwave in the room along with the mini fridge. We went out to eat a couple of times and felt we could have brought home our leftovers if we had the means to re-heat them. The complimentary Keurig coffee and tea was a great start to the morning. The location is great - very walkable to restaurants/bars, Pike's Market, Space Needle, and the Chihuly Glass & Garden. The price was very reasonable as well. We were happy to stay in an affordable hotel without compromising location. We loved it and will definitely consider it when we visit Seattle next!

Perfect!

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff; quiet; comfortable; great location
Cons: The shower could use a little TLC, but that's getting very picky.
Location: Walking distance to the market, downtown, the waterfront, the space needle and surrounding park, great restaurants.
We adored this comfy boutique hotel. It is very small - only 20 rooms - nice and quiet. I thought our room was quiet spacious for a boutique hotel (the bathroom was very small as expected), and I was pleasantly surprised with the view from room 9. The staff was the real star of the show - so friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked through the door. It's also in a great location so getting around was easy. I would highly this hotel and will stay here again next time I'm in Seattle.
