Great hotel in Seattle

Very nice accomodations, comfy and stylish room. Staff was extremely helpful, we loved the complementary shuttle, too.

Relaxing Stay

We had a short stay-cation at the Maxwell for a concert at Key Arena. Great location! Walking distance to restaurants and Seattle Center. Hotel staff was friendly. We were impressed with the hotel's security requiring key access to the elevators and parking garage. The bedding was Ahhh-mazing! Would love to stay again!

Cons: Not charging guests for parking
From the moment of check in until we left 5 days later, the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were wonderful and it was crystal clear that they were there to make your stay as good as it could possibly be. The rooms were spacious, the beds SUPER comfy and the location was great. The little extras ( that add up to big bonus's) were everywhere. Free bottled water in your room, free news paper, free coffee and muffins in the lobby all day, free popcorn in your room , free shuttle to most of the areas that guests would be interested in going to, and the list goes on. All of the little things they do indicates that the corporate culture of this hotel is to ensure the guests have a lovely stay and that their experience is first and foremost. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed the Maxwell and will definetely be staying with them again.

Not close to downtown, but still walkable.

Breakfast was not included, but what is offered was basically unacceptable. all ready made wraps and sandwiches that were barely edible.

Very nice hotel

Pros: Staff was knowledgeable, helpful and hotel was very clean.
Location: Nice neighborhood in Queen Anne neighborhood, safe and within walking distance of restaurants, grocery store and Space Needle.
Close to major attractions, nice neighborhood.Staff

Good location...walking distance to the Space Needle & Chihuly Garden...about a 10-min. car ride to other places, such as Pike Market.

Comfortable hotel

Spent 3 nights at The Maxwell and have no complaints. Arrived very late and check in was speedy. Room was huge and very comfortable and clean. I was worried because we were right next to the elevator, but there was hardly any noise, just the usual chatter you hear in most hotels. The location is great for the Space Needle and Seattle Centre, but quite far from other attractions. There is a shuttle though, but you need to book in advance. Otherwise the monorail gets you back in the area very quickly. The staff were helpful. Planned to eat in The Rock on our last night waiting for our late flight, but it was too busy- so even though we didn't get to try it, that's a great sign!

A visit before an Alaskan Cruise

Pros: Location and service
Location: Near the Space Needle, restaurants, and grocery store
The Maxwell is in a perfect location. Close to the Space Needle and a short Monorail ride to Pike Place. If you don't want to walk the hotel offers a free shuttle to most attractions. Plenty of restaurants in the area within walking distance and felt safe. Rooms were spacious, beds were very comfortable, pool was just the right size and hotel service was excellent. Hotel has on site parking(surcharge). Also a grocery store a very short distance away.

Nice hotel ,besides the free wifi doesn't work well . eapeciall room card ,very funny .the location is good , close to pike market and space needle
