We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids (5 and 7) and we stayed at the Maxwell Hotel based on reviews on Expedia.com and the good price. It was conveniently located near the Needle (10 min walk) and they also had a hotel shuttle that would go to the popular tourist spots like the Needle, Zoo, Pikes Market, Aquarium/Ferris Wheel area (Pier), and Pioneer Square. Just had to call the front desk and make a reservation. Staff was nice and they served mini cupcakes in the afternoon which my kids loved and looked forward to every day. My only complaint was that there were 4 of us in the room, and I asked them to leave us 4 sets of towels in the room each day, but they would also leave 3 washcloths and handtowels (bath towels they would have 4). We would leave tip every day and I even left a note asking them to leave 4 sets of towels (which they did that day), but the consecutive days after, they would leave only 3. So we would have to call the lobby to bring us 1 more set. I just wish they would remember every day we were there (7 nights total) because it was inconvenient for us to always ask the staff and plus we left tip for the maid staff every day, so you would think they would remember or have it down in their inventory that there were 4 people staying in that room. Otherwise, good eating places nearby and convenient location. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.
