Hotel in a good location

Posted Aug 25, 2015
The hotel was beautiful, clean and conveniently located to major attractions. My husband, unfortunately was allergic to the sheets and comforter and woke up every night itching/developed contact dermatitis the whole length of our stay. The hotel staff/ management did their best to resolve the situation. Except for my husband, the rest of the family thought the beds were very comfortable.

Excellent location

Posted Aug 21, 2015
We're really satisfied with our stay. They let us check in earlier. We were impressed that the room has wood floors and really clean and spacious. The location can't be beat as it is just a couple of blocks away from the Seattle Center. Will definitely stay here again. Excellent experience altogether.

Great Stay in Seattle

Posted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and comfortable beds.
Cons: The view out of our window was of a wall.
Location: Close to the Space Needle. Great, safe location.
The hotel was really clean. Free Parking. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were large. We had a perfect stay here and would stay again.

Location good

Posted Aug 14, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: See above comments.
Location: Pacific Northwest Ballet, Space Needle, Chihuly Museum.
The Maxwell is a bare bones hotel: minimal services. Breakfast not always available, lunch not served, limited menu for dinner. Room lock did not work for two days. Ten to Fifteen minute wait for taxi service. Maxwell shuttle service available to one location each day. Cleaning done by mid afternoon.

Good location, service could be improved

Posted Aug 7, 2015
Pros: Great location and nice setting/facilities for the price.
Cons: Staff attentiveness and customer service. Hotel felt understaffed during our stay, and the concierge was absolutely unreliable.
Not much to complain, except a completely unreliable concierge service. Since we were a family of 4 with considerable baggage, we booked long in advance a minivan/shuttle to the train station, but despite checking on it recurrently, it ended up NOT SHOWING UP and we had to improvise and request an alternative vehicle in order to not miss our train. It is the little things like this one that make a difference in what makes a hotel bad, good or great.

Great location, beautiful!

Posted Aug 7, 2015
We were upgraded to a beautiful suite with a balcony. The staff was THE BEST! The free parking is a huge plus. The shuttle was so handy and the driver was so nice. Plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Restaurant in the hotel, the pizza place, was not good. Their service was lousy and food was mediocre at best.

Great Place to stay.

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Cons: The Pineapple Espresso Coffee shop downstairs to be open all day.
Location: Space Needle, Monorail, Chihuly Garden and Glass, the Collectables Restaurant; EMP museum, Kerry Park.
Great location, just a 5 minute walk from space needle and monorail. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Stopped before and after we went to Alaska and the management kindly allowed us to safely store a suitcase with them whilst we were away. Rooms very comfortable, clean and quiet. 24 hour food market just around the corner on 5th Avenue / Mercer Street which was very handy especially as the room has a fridge. The Rock restaurant attached to the hotel serves good food, but does not have breakfast. Breakfast at Mecca Café a few blocks away was good and would set you up for the day.

Best hotel in the area!

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: Location, Price, Cleanliness, Friendly Staff
Location: Space , Duck Tours (This was well worth the money!), Shopping
Great location and great price. Walking distance to the Space Needle and other attractions. Lovely area to go for a walk. The room was spacious and immaculate. Loved the cupcakes and pineapple water in the afternoon in the lobby. One of my favorites were the white slippers in the room. I took them home and are still wearing them - they remind me of my great vacation. It is a great location if taking a cruise as it is a short drive to the Piers. They don't have their own shuttle, but they were able to get us a cab very easily. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend this hotel.

Comfy Beds

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Closeness to Space Needle
Cons: We wanted to use their shuttle to go to Pike Place, but you have to make reservations. We had no time for that.
Location: Best for Seattle Center
As our purpose was to take our son to the Space Neddle, it was an excellent location. The staff helped us book a town car for our trip to the airport for the next morning. Everything went smoothly. We even ate at their restaurant located next to the lobby which my son loved!
