The staff was wonderful. Very polite, engaged, and helpful at every level.
The hotel room is as advertised-clean and comfortable.
Valet parking is the only option (Fine) but after ten minutes in parking line (the Paramount and next-door Hyatt share a lane) I was told the lot is full and I had to use the Hyatt.
On its own-no big deal-but that added another ten or fifteen minutes to check-in as I had to go back to my car, get back in line, and repeat the process...The Paramount doesn't have a 'lot full' use next lot sign. A sign is a pretty easy fix, but instead, they are deliberately wasting the time of their customers.
One of the two elevators was out-of-order (again, fine-things break...it's the weekend). We were on the third floor, so we figured we'd take the stairs to the lobby.
There is no way to access the lobby from the stairs. It took us down to the parking garage which was closed, and we had to take the same lone elevator up, taking us another 15 minutes to get out of the building.
This seems like a pretty flagrant fire code violation to boot.
There are many hotels in the area with similar price points-so I would choose one of them instead of The Paramount.
