Location: Close to monorail to Space Needle and Pacific Science Center. In the heart of downtown.
Recently remodeled room. Great location. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. Couldn't ask for better without paying an arm and a leg.

Sophisticated feeling hotel with personable staff

Cons: We were eligible for Expedia VIP service. We were told that nothing was available during our stay.
Location: In the heart of Downtown Seattle. Walking distance to almost all things: Pike's fish market, museums, restaurants, & the monorail to the Space Needle
Nice, sophisticated feeling hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle next big giants like the Grand Hyatt. The small staff was always very friendly and helpful. Very easy to come in and out of the hotel. However, we thought the valet parking was a bit pricey. We were eligible for Expedia VIP service. We were told that nothing was available during our stay. Instead as a consolation prize, the front desk manager issued us two Starbuck cards. She said each card was worth $20 each. When I went to Starbucks to redeem, each card was $10 each NOT $20!!

All were extremely knowledgeable, always willing to help and offer great suggestions. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant as it was under renovations The only suggestion I have would be to lower the cost of valet parking for hotel guest only. $ 40.00/day was steep.

Nice place,the heating and air unit needs to be replaced,it was very noisy and made it hard to sleep.

NO room service

I spent 4 nights at the Paramount. Before I booked, I checked their web site to ensure there was room service. When I got to my room, I found a note saying their restaurant was closed for renovations and so there was no room service. I was tired, hungry and cranky -- all I wanted was to take a tub with a big martini and have dinner brought to my room. Over the 4 day stay, I brought in a rotisserie chicken and other take out items. It was a pain in the derriere. How hard is it to update your website to say there is no room service temporarily???? The manager was supposed to contact me about this, but she never did. I love old hotels and always try to frequent them when I travel. The Paramount is a nice place, the front desk and concierge staff very nice. The property is clean and comfortable. I just think they need to do a better job reflecting current services.
