NO room service

I spent 4 nights at the Paramount. Before I booked, I checked their web site to ensure there was room service. When I got to my room, I found a note saying their restaurant was closed for renovations and so there was no room service. I was tired, hungry and cranky -- all I wanted was to take a tub with a big martini and have dinner brought to my room. Over the 4 day stay, I brought in a rotisserie chicken and other take out items. It was a pain in the derriere. How hard is it to update your website to say there is no room service temporarily???? The manager was supposed to contact me about this, but she never did.
I love old hotels and always try to frequent them when I travel. The Paramount is a nice place, the front desk and concierge staff very nice. The property is clean and comfortable. I just think they need to do a better job reflecting current services.
