Fun and challenging ropes course about 40' off the ground... Enough to incite genuine fear. The Trover team spent 2.5 here and we all loved it. About 70$ pp. At Trover we like to be hands on. We personally go out to find you the best gems in town. It's not easy, but someone's got to do it.
Here you see we went Whiskey tasting. It's okay, I already know what you're gonna say, and from the bottom of our hearts you are welcome.
Don't let the run-of-the-mill facade of this building fool you, the interior of Woodinville Whisky is lovely. Once inside you get 3 tastings: Bourbon, Rye, and Vodka.
All are fantastic, smooth and have a punch to them. The Vodka though was a pleasant surprise with a caramel scent and sweet finish.
You can also purchase an Age Your Own whiskey kit for the DIYers out there.
Enjoy! This beautiful minimalist winery building and cafe serves the tastiest pizza. Try the octopus, garlic and lemon zest 'zza with a glass of their nice wines. We hit this as our midway stop on a 45 mi bikeride from Seattle. Great service and good chirashi. I like that the bowl has two sections - one for rice and one for fish. Free climbing wall. Practice here, then head to Exit 32 off I-90 for the real thing. Open daily 8am to dusk. Beautiful grounds and some pretty good wine tasting options. They do let you share flights, if you ask. Along with offering world-class culinary experiences, Herbfarm also offers a feast for the eyes! For the most part, pretty abandoned railroad tracks. Except for this one guy who drives his personal train up and down the tracks once a day apparently. They just opened (in late June?) so they're still figuring things out and getting used to the kitchen/space, but I love the food and beer selection! The pizza toppings (pork belly, anyone?) are quite fun. The peeled tomatoes on the pizza pictured were a nice touch. :) Enjoy! Delicious food and northwest ambiance. Get the grand marnier shrimp. Exquisite food and wine at Herbfarm. And yes, that's a bottle of 1795 Madeira! The Not So Classico pie: Prosciutto di parma, tomato confit, arugula pesto, arugula leaves, chevre, housemade mozzarella, balsamic reduction.
Fantastic. Wine tasting at the lovely Chateau Ste Michelle is a great day out and at only $10 for 4 tastings you can't beat it! Beautiful grounds at Chateau Ste. Michelle Hot air balloons often can be seen during summers in this area. Whether it be early in the morning or as the sun is going down, it's always a lovely sight to see! #colorful This is a pretty transportive little in town getaway. Very northwest iron an beam feel and gives the impression one is in the north cascades not just north of Redmond. I've hosted a few overnight corporate offsites here an have friends who do sneak away anniversary nights here as well. Great winery in the Woodinville warehouse district. Good chirashi! Good ramen place in an unlikely location. Had the spicy ramen and garlic pork fried rice. The ramen wasn't spicy but the flavor was good and the broth was smooth and creamy in texture. Lots of pork in the fried rice. Kailua Style Turkey Burger with Tots The tomato basil soup: Vedict = Yummy. Crispy Veg Egg Rolls Makanouchi! #sushi #sashimi #tempura #foodporn #delicious Delicious acai bowls and a photo booth! 😍
They started as a #foodtruck on Market St and recently moved to this brick and mortar location. They don't have any seating available inside but maybe they'll have some outdoor tables next spring/summer. (They still have the food truck and plan to use it for events.)
#foodiefinds Burger was amazing
#lifeatexpedia Pho Combo! One of many wineries in the heart of Woodinville wine country. Also has a great B&B on property. The Waikiki Burger from Teddy's. Great spot for outdoor shows that usually cater to the middle aged and older crowd. If you want to feel young, this is the place to be. Good wine, too. If you're curious, that's Jethro Tull on the stage. Loco moco!
#lifeatexpedia These burgers are amazing
#lifeatexpedia.com Yummy eats! #lifeatexpedia $1 tours & good cycling destination from Seattle. Refuel with a burger & beer for the return ride. Yum Tolt pipeline, heart attack hill Yumm Med Kitchen fries, I order them with extra crispy fries. #lifeatexpedia Dinner and wine at the Box
#lifeatexpedia Nice park along Sammish River & Sammish River Trail. On a bike ride stop for water, then make next stop Redhook Brewery for food & beer. Always take time to look up. #patterns
