A motel at the price of a hotel

It is a motel all doors open to highway noise. We stayed in another Extended the day before and like it. This one however is totally different.

The hotel stay

Pros: The only thing, it was close to airport parking
Cons: Better insulation to quiet the road noise
Location: It seemed a bit unsafe, all i did was go to my room and locked the door
the Hotel is situated between two very busy interstates, the traffic noise all night was very distracting in getting a good night sleep. The only good things about the hotel is it was very close to the airport parking, and the room rate was cheap, (I guess the price should have given me a clue). The room was a basic room....

Very convenient to SeaTac airport.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Longer shower curtains. Don't run out of free "breakfast" items by 9 am. Sound-proof the rooms better.
Location: Southcenter Mall is just two minutes away - next to the mall are hundreds of retail shops & good restaurants. Airport is 5 minutes away.
5 minute drive to SeaTac airport. Rooms not as large as most Extended Stay I've been in. Room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower curtain was too short so water flooded the bathroom floor when you took a shower. It looks like the hotel just recently added the rounded/bowed shower curtain rods but failed to consider that you need longer shower curtains when you complete this upgrade. If I owned this property I would be concerned about water damage in every room. Front desk check-in not very personable but very efficient. No coffee was available when we checked out at 9 am - even though Expedia says "free breakfast" which is entirely provided on top of a table that is 2 ft by 5 ft. One of the worst free breakfasts I have seen. Don't bother listing the breakfast and just surprise people with the little bit that is offered. Hotel is located at the interchange of two interstate freeways and a highway that leads uphill to the airport. Lots of highway noise - most of the noise was drowned out in the room, though. For one night this hotel worked out OK - with some minor changes could be a lot better. Parking was fine. Access to the hotel requires a GPS but is very convenient.

not verry comfortable

mattress was very hard, pillows are not soft, shower head water flow is very minimal and breakfast is a joke

Nice, convenient, safe and quiet hotel

Pros: Tuck way in a nice area, therefore even though the hotel is near freeways and shopping centers but it is quiet and safe. Great combination.
Location: Off Interstate 5 in Tukwila, Seattle WA. Five minutes from an AMC theater, a shopping mall, banks, ect. Newly developed, clean and safe.
Very safe and quiet, the hotel maintenance staff and front desk staff are helpful, friendly and super nice.

Smoke detector works

We turned on the room heater in the morning about a minute later the smoke detector started going off. there was no visible smoke but was an odor. They had us switch rooms for the next night.
