Not the best Hilton Garden Inn we've been in...

Not the best Hilton Garden Inn we've been in... The room we got was very noisy due to a club being right in front that played till 4am. I wish they had had light canceling curtains... and the bathroom was just put together very weirdly/poorly. Other then that the stay was okay. Parking was at your own risk but we had no problems at all with safety being an issue. Also there's no shuttle... but there's a bus that offers round trip right into time square. It's a mile walk to the bus stop but it's not a bad walk at all and though it's dark you're still safe and the buses are easy to figure out.

I hope you will accept my apologies for not meeting all of your expectations during your stay. In regards to the drapes in the rooms, all of our rooms do have black out drapes that can be closed by our guests when they desire. The bus stop for New Jersey Transit is two buildings away which is approximately a one quarter mile walk and the buses will go to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City which is less than two blocks from Times Square. All of us appreciate you staying with us while on your trip away from home and we hope you will stay with us again the next time you visit our area.

Pros: Nice staff, good breakfast
Cons: Add an exercise bike in the gym
Location: Too difficulat to get out and about from there
The hotel overall was very nice. Rooms comfortable, staff nice, clean... Bad location.. Need to take highway and back track when you leave. not convenient to get in an out. We wanted to leave for dinner, but the traffic and ease of getting around made it not too condusive. We ended up staying at work, going out directly after for dinner and then agreeing to stay put once we returned to the hotel to avoid the driving out and around.

Lovely

The lobby is lovely and inviting! The front desk personnel was very warm and welcoming! Close to many restaurants and movie theater. Breakfast and dinner are served right in the beautiful lobby area. Room was extremely nice and comfortable. Would absolutely stay again!

Odd housekeeping experience

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The front desk staff provided excellent customer care, however, we were in bed after a VERY long tiresome day sightseeing NYC and were awoken by the housekeeping staff at midnight. They knocked on our door until we woke up and answered it, just to see if we needed anything!!! At MIDNIGHT??? They were polite but that was really uncalled for. Then, once again, we were awoken to housekeeping knocking on our dirt at 9am for the same purpose. I don’t believe they should do that when check-out time isn’t until noon. If we needed anything during our stay, we would have known to call the front desk and ask for it.

Unfortunately we do not have a night house person who will knock on doors at midnight so I can only think that they had the wrong room number for a request. I would also like to recommend that at any hotel, when you are in the room, place the Do Not Disturb sign in place as Housekeeping will not go past that sign until after check out time. If the sign is not in place they will knock to find out if the guest has departed since more than 50% of our guests do not check out with the front desk. All of us appreciate you staying with us while on your trip away from home and we do hope you will stay with us again the next time you visit our area.

great, but fauset/sink shall be separated with bath in space and fauset/sink shall never be locked while bath is locked

Hotel close to NYCity.

Pros: Location, price
Cons: free continental bkfst
We took a bus into the Port Authority in NYcity. It was a short walk to the stop, we got off in the center of the city, and could leave our car parked freeat the hotel. How much better can you get.
