Great hotel on Oak Creek

Posted Mar 28, 2017
Pros: See above
Location: Hiking along Oak Creek Lots of shops and eateries within walking distance
This was best experience ever in Sedona: fabulous location, great restaurant, and stellar spa Will definitely go back!

Average hotel with above average price

Posted Mar 26, 2017
We were celebrating our 45 th wedding and we're disappointed in this hotel. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, but the room and food we're average. At over $400.00 per night we expected better than average. We will not stay there again.

I am sorry to hear that you did not feel like your stay was extraordinary. While all hotels in Sedona can be quite expensive this time of year, our goal is to provide an experience that makes you forget about all of that. We hope you'll give us another chance in the future.

unfortunately only 1 day stay here but it was truly excellent and loved the wine happy hour at 4pm - nice surprise. Facilities are top notch and views are amazing.

Not very relaxing for a "spa" vacation.

Posted Mar 25, 2017
Pros: Spa treatments
Cons: Take out the astro-turf around the pool. Get rid of the bar games and all the screaming children. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything!
Location: Awful location unless you like to be in the middle of a tourist trap.
Overrun with spring break families. Hotel staff couldn't keep up. The restaurant could not serve, the concierge was not helpful. The fitness room was inadequate. The pool area is very tacky with corn-hole and other games set up. Our "poolside terrace" was adjacent to these games and we had to listen to shouts and screams all afternoon. Sedona "uptown" where the hotel is located is also a very tacky, undesirable area. The one positive is that our spa treatments were great despite the size of the yoga room and the locker room being too small for the number of guests.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with some thoughts from your stay. While I was pleased to hear about your spa treatments, I was disappointed to learn that the rest of your stay didn't fit what you were looking for. Sedona can feel quite harried this time of year with most of the nation on holiday. I hope it doesn't deter you from enjoying Sedona in the future. Thank you.

Nice property close to the heart of downtown

Posted Mar 16, 2017
Pros: Room, wine hour, friendly staff-especially front desk staff and valets. We also had a great dinner at the restaurant.
Cons: My spouse was disappointed she could not do yoga (classes were already full when she tried to sign up a day in advance).
Location: Very god location. Easy access to shopping, Pink Jeep Tour company, and numerous restaurants.
Very friendly staff, nice restaurant, comfortable rooms. We had a great time at the resort. We enjoyed the daily wine hour, sitting in the open patio/pool area watching the sun set. Met some very nice guests during the wine hour which allowed us to share experiences and learn about some others things to do while in town. Walking up the big hill to visit the town was a bummer but having a Room next to the creek was awesome. Loved sleeping with the patio door open listening to the sounds of the stream go by. Overall, very nice Resort that met our expectations.

Room smelled like smoke on arrival. Staff thought we had been smoking in room which wasn't the case as we are 2 non smokers. Quite noisy in hall at times.

Well that's not right! There is no excuse to put anyone in a room that isn't 100% ready/clean. I am very sorry for the misstep.

Beautiful view/friendly staff but wouldn't return

Posted Feb 25, 2017
Pros: Fire pits were great on chilly nights. There were blankets scattered around for use. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Beds and linens!!
We traveled with our two tween kids. Requested courtyard room and didn't get it, bummer - no view at all. We all looked forward to the pool upon arrival. First, know that there is only stairs on one end of facility and elevator by lobby on other side. Going to the pool and returning was like going through a corn maze. Behind the building, through the corridor, upstairs, another corridor, more steps - you get it. And the pool? NOT heated to 84. Only my youngest son could tolerate it was so cold - and we're from Washington! The room has no microwave. The bed frame was so noisy that every time there was a shift, it woke me up and the mattress hurt our back. The food was good, just expensive. Free coffee and cocoa until 9am but they ran out and once it's gone, too bad. The view was great, but the view everywhere is great so not worth it to us. Resort fee means vallet parking for $27/day. Staff is very friendly, except when we asked three times for the two lawn games to be brought out after waiting 20 minutes each time and it took them three minutes to set up. They said they were busy, but an hour? I'd save the money on another location and enjoy the views everywhere around you.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with some feedback regarding your visit. While I appreciate the comments regarding our staff, I am disappointed to learn that we seemed to drop the ball in a few areas... Some of these are easy fixes, but still not something that you should be subject to during your stay. We will communicate this out to our team to make any/all improvements moving forward. If you are ever in the area in the future, I would love a chance to show you a flawless return!

Nice hotel, great staff, convenient location

Posted Feb 8, 2017
Staff was great, fiacility is well maintained, centrally located to center of sedona. Bar and reastsurant both were good. Only issue was bathroom counters are small and we could hear the folks in the room above us from time to time. Great stay...would stay there again.
