Beautiful view/friendly staff but wouldn't return

We traveled with our two tween kids. Requested courtyard room and didn't get it, bummer - no view at all. We all looked forward to the pool upon arrival. First, know that there is only stairs on one end of facility and elevator by lobby on other side. Going to the pool and returning was like going through a corn maze. Behind the building, through the corridor, upstairs, another corridor, more steps - you get it. And the pool? NOT heated to 84. Only my youngest son could tolerate it was so cold - and we're from Washington! The room has no microwave. The bed frame was so noisy that every time there was a shift, it woke me up and the mattress hurt our back. The food was good, just expensive. Free coffee and cocoa until 9am but they ran out and once it's gone, too bad. The view was great, but the view everywhere is great so not worth it to us. Resort fee means vallet parking for $27/day. Staff is very friendly, except when we asked three times for the two lawn games to be brought out after waiting 20 minutes each time and it took them three minutes to set up. They said they were busy, but an hour? I'd save the money on another location and enjoy the views everywhere around you.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with some feedback regarding your visit. While I appreciate the comments regarding our staff, I am disappointed to learn that we seemed to drop the ball in a few areas... Some of these are easy fixes, but still not something that you should be subject to during your stay. We will communicate this out to our team to make any/all improvements moving forward. If you are ever in the area in the future, I would love a chance to show you a flawless return!
