Flowers of the Hedgehog Cactus, flowering in the museum garden. No doubt as fascinating for us today as it was for the people who first lived here, the structure at Tuzigoot almost defies credibility. It sits in the middle of what you could arguably call I posted an image from the base of the monument which shows a large Directly outside the monument proper sits the uncovered remains of a pit dwelling originally constructed in 1850. The dwelling would have been covered inside an oblate oval While everyone speeds past Cottonwood to get to Sedona, Dead Horse State Park is a jewel of a State Park with great trails, hiking along the soothing Verde River and great views.

The train follows the same route from Perkinsville back to Clarkdale. #blue Day 9 - Driving in the beautiful state of Arizona, this was our Sunset view as we started hitting the Jerome and Sedona region. So excited to explore this area. Tuzigoot National Monument
