Needs a lot of updates. Very old rooms. Staff helpful. Breakfast ok. I wouldn't stay there again.

Hampton Inn Sedona review

We ended up checking out after pointed night and moving to Los Abrigados for the same price and way better hotel. It's partly my fault because when I made the reservation I didn't know what "accessible" meant. If the letters ADA were in front of it I would have known and not booked it. The shower was a walk in and pinched my foot in the seam coming out of the shower. The sink had a huge crack in it. The staff was very accommodating however. When we first arrived they gave us lots of tips of places to go and see. When we told them we were unhappy and wanted to leave, there was no argument, they did what we asked and apologized profusely for the problems. The staff gets an A+.

We were very pleased with this property in terms of size of the room, bed, and location within Sedona. I do need to alert Hotels that we had a 'near miss' during check in. My wife and I booked the property on Aug 31 for a Sep 23-24 stay. Upon check-in on Fri 9/23, the manager on duty saw our names in the system, but no room had been assigned, so you can see our surprise after working all day, then a 2hr drive to Sedona. The manager did say that it was not uncommon for errors such as this when dealing with 3rd party bookings such as Hotels.com After the initial shock, the manager on duty did work with the general manager via phone to resolve the situation. So in the end, we got the room we booked. I just wanted to alert Hotels.com to the initial check-in issue, and that way you all can work with the property so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Away from the tourist traps but close to galleries

The hotel lobby is beautiful and so are the pool & hot tub, but the rooms are dated.

We found Sedona to be a beautiful place, a lot of history, arts and hiking for those that do that..

Nice hotel with a great staff.

This was a nice hotel in West Sedona. Walkable to some restaurants. Short drive to uptown Sedona. Breakfast is included and free parking. One day, while we were on a day trip to Grand Canyon, our room wasn't services. We mentioned it to front desk as we headed out for dinner. They had it taken care of right away. Staff made some great restaurant recommendations. Our favorite was the Hideaway House. if you're looking for an affordable spa experience try Namti Spa right down the street from the hotel.

On the day of arrival, Hampton could not accommodate us and we had to find another hotel.
