Lovely setting, lots of space, accommodating staff. Wonderful place to relax and get away from it all.

Quiet, beautiful forest and canyon views.

Posted May 13, 2017
Pros: Nestled in the canyon with great views and quiet atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful and considerate.
Cons: Skylight in the loft needs to have some sort of shade. Too much light too early in the morning up in the loft.
Location: Sedona has great shopping and dining. Junipine Resort is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of tourists but close enough to partake.
The terrace was spacious with beautiful views. The sound of the running creek with the forest back drop and tall canyon views was incredible. We will be returning!

Beautiful mountain, forest views.

Posted May 10, 2017
Cons: On Mondays and Tuesday when restaurant is closed, have some restaurant prepared meals in office available for purchase.
Very relaxing, quiet. The room was very cozy with 2 fireplaces, one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom. Romantic, and the wood was provided.

Beautiful setting

Posted May 8, 2017
Pros: Quiet and location is spectacular.
Cons: Little dated.
Little bit dated but stunning environment. Everything is clean and in good shape, just dating itself in style.

Lovely location...but unit #5 was dirty & shabby

Posted May 8, 2017
Pros: Location was lovely.
Cons: Unit #5 needs to be refreshed and updated...and requires a visit from pest control.
This resort has condos which are owned by the individual condo owners. I cannot speak for the condition of other condos here, only the unit we had the misfortune of booking; Unit #5. This unit was dirty and rundown (ants in the kitchen & bath). Truly shabby...and not the chic kind. Damage on cabinets and woodwork...and bedroom wall. We definitely steered clear of the melted blow dryer...scary stuff. And we never did locate the iron that was supposed to be there. The old refrigerator froze whatever was placed in it, no matter the setting. Also don't expect heat unless you use the fireplace. I guess if the condo owner of your unit hasn't taken the care to maintain a comfortable setting for guests, guests will be subjected to less than hospitable conditions. I did phone the desk when we arrived (Monday) to ask for a light bulb for the security light on the outside deck. No problem I was told, a work order would be written up to replace the broken bulb. We left on Friday...no one had ever shown up to replace a simple light bulb. We also had a TV problem while we were there...again the front desk told us they would write up a work order. With some channel adjusting the TV righted itself. Thank heavens we didn't have a plumbing problem. Let me also mention a lumpy mattress, thin linens and skimpy towels. Condo/cottage/unit #5 was disappointing. We would not recommend.

Lovely resort near Oak Creek

Posted May 7, 2017
Junipine Resort is a beautiful property 8 miles from Sedona. Staff at front desk and restaurant were very helpful and friendly. The suite was actually a large apartment with the capacity for 6 people, with a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our one night, but it would be a great place to stay longer. Only drawback: limited walking path on the resort property, so one needs to drive to find parks or paths.

Nature setting near Oak Creek.

Posted May 7, 2017
Beautiful grounds with close access to Oak Creek, trails, and lush vegetation. Beautiful lodging and privacy, and all the comforts of home. A great location for mid-week travel to surrounding areas. Sedona and Flagstaff easily reached. With summer traffic avoid weekends unless you like to wait in line to get to or through Uptown. Big road project on 89 A north to Flagstaff.

Creek side

Posted Apr 30, 2017
Pros: everything...
Cons: nothing....
Location: Sedona is just 15 minutes down the road
Loved the size, 1250 sq ft, bedroom, 2 fireplaces, kitchen, deck overlooking the creek and forest. Once we saw our room we booked an addition day... Well worth it...

Gorgeous spot in oak creek canyon

Posted Apr 30, 2017
We loved Junipine, it's a bit of a drive from Sedona, abt 8mi, but a beautiful drive. We had a nice fire every nite & we fell asleep to the sound of the creek & woke up to the birds serenading us. Just wonderful place to stay. Cant wait to return.

peaceful place just north of Sedona

Posted Apr 29, 2017
Pros: We loved the peaceful setting. Sedona is fun but we wanted to be a bit away from it all.
Location: It is very close to Slippery Rock State Park.
We had a creekside condo with two bedrooms and a lovely deck from which we could hear the creek. The kitchen was well appointed and we got food from Whole Foods in town and cooked in. We had a fire in the fireplace, and everything we needed for that was all set up. It was cosy and just what we needed for an overnight visit with family members.
