First hotel room was a little older, showed us second room which was great and had a view of the river.
Great experience with helpful hotel staff. No issues with anyone working directly with hotel .
Rated Hotel lower because of association with the Restaurant.
Wanted to report very questionable experience with Junipine Table, the restaurant. May be separate ownership than hotel?
Highly suspect discriminatory serving practices based on observation over 9 hours spent on 3 different occasions
over 2 days. Was not looking for it and have never experienced it. But it was that obvious. Briefly the facts: observed 15 tables seated and served.
4 tables with minorities served by minority staff
8 tables with white patrons served by white male staff member
3 tables served by female staff of unknown ethnic origin- can throw out that data
but beyond observed facts is the attention focused on patrons by staff. White male staff member would not even look at or say anything to any minority table but would routinely walk around and check on everyone non minority. again, too obvious.
Hotel great. Recommend eating elsewhere if this evidence is enough for you.

I'm over joyed to see that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay at our hotel. On another note, I see that your experience with the restaurant was less than satisfactory, and to me that is completely unacceptable. If there is evidence of any discriminatory actions in the restaurant, it will not be tolerated. You have my sincerest apologies if this is what you witnessed.
