The night host at the restaurant was arrogant and rude to us. We were told at check-in about the restaurant and to check it out. We were not told we needed a reservation. We arrived after 6 pm from travel and doing a Jeep tour and were so hungry. When we went to the hotel restaurant and asked for a table for two, the host gruffly asked if we had a reservation and when we said no, told us the restaurant was full. When I asked if there was another place to eat on resort property, he told us bar seating was for 21 years and older. My niece just turned 18, but that wasn’t what I asked. Because the sun had set and there aren’t many streetlights, we didn’t want to venture out of the resort again in the dark. We thought to call down to room service, and I’m not sure if it was the same man, but the person who answered scoffed at us and told us there was an hour and a half wait. I thought perhaps I was being hangry and sensitive, but then my niece asked why the employees were being so rude to us. Perhaps next time, the check-in desk could mention dinner is by reservation only and the restaurant host could make dinner suggestions for other nearby places or even just be nice and sympathetic to those guests who are just looking for dinner after a long day of travel and sightseeing.
In addition, there was no water pressure in the shower and the curtain kept sliding open.
