Northern Light Balloons will take you for a sunrise float over Sedona. Filling the balloons and lift off was really fun, but I found the floating around to be a bit freaky and I'm not afraid of heights. The kids liked it, but we wish we brought earplugs for them because the burners are loud. Expensive- $195 pp for 1 hour flight plus breakfast. #canyonballrun2013 This is down a path by the river the road is right above this shot. Sedona is such a unique and beautiful place.
#waterlust During a near fullmoon, the landscape of Sedona Arizona glows under the stars of night. A long exposure created the ethereal mood, a view which can’t be seen with the naked eye. By Matt Anderson photography Hiking the Teacup Trail. About a mile loop, flat, awesome views and great for kids. #canyonballrun2013 Beautiful hiking destination in Sedona There are a lot of strange names for the rock formations in Sedona, but I don't see how they could have called this anything else.
( #blue ) Buddha Beach on the property of the Crescent Moon Ranch. There's an entrance fee of $9.00 to access this huge swath of land, which offers views of Cathedral Rock and long stretches of gentle creek water available for swimming, wading or just sitting quietly and clearing your thoughts. #InStone It's a popular place, but it provides some of the most sweeping views of the main red-rock formations surrounding the town. Oh, and the flora ain't bad, either. Even if you’ve never been to Red Rock Crossing before, you will most likely experience a sense of déjà vu. If you have seen a photo of Sedona, you have probably seen this exact spot with the famous Cathedral Rock. Read more about it here: The Devils Bridge in Sedona. Having a 4x4 with high clearance will get you to the trailhead and it's only a 1.5 RT hike from there. If you don't drive a high clearance car, park down the road and add an additional 2 miles RT for the hike. #hiking #weekendgetaway Visited Sedona, AZ this past April and this church was one of the cool stops along the way. Amazing architecture and what a crazy place to have a church. Sedona is full of red rock formations that captivate many travelers. Another photo of the red rocky mountains in Sedona. The most amazing sunsets. Just make sure to get their early to beat the crowds to the good spots Crazy the vast variety of nature Arizona offers!! #hike #hikearizona #arizona #devilsbridge #sedona #redrocks One of the many spectacular views that can be enjoyed around the Sedona, Arizona area. We took the tourist route from Flagstaff, then drove around the outskirts of Sedona to take in the majestic scenery. There are a lot of trails around the town, all worth checking out. While up in sedona my wife and i had to hike devils bridge. It was awesome. #BVStrove Sunset over Sedona, this whole area is so beautiful and I loved all the colours and shades of red and #blue that seem to come alive at sunset Devils Bridge - Sedona, Az #redrocks #sedona
The most amazing sunsets in Sedona. The sun sets at the far end of the valley and just lights up the red rocks and clouds above them. Just get their early to make sure you get a good spot Camping in Sedona at the end of 2016 Iconic image of Cathedral Rock across Oak Creek with reflections. Really pretty area but gets pretty steep near the end but totally worth it. Took me about two hours to hike there and back from the non-4wd parking area. #colorfultravelphoto Such a relaxed, quick, and easy hike to the pools. A definite must after some rainfall ☔️ #TakeAHike Day 10 - A lovely peak at Sedona. Some locals told us this was a great spot to watch the sun setting, they weren't wrong. #sedona
#arizona Take the short side trail to this vortex area off of Boynton Canyon trail. The 3 mile trail in the canyon is good too but we only did 1/2 of it as weather came in. Look up along the cliff walls to see dwellings. This shot is taken from the loop road in Sedona Arizona true Red Rock Country It was a really nice scenic hike, got narrow and had to use your hands to climb up some parts.. And the grand finale was just perfect but not for the scared of heights Sunset captured at Airport mesa in Sedona, Arizona.
Amazing place #sedona #azhike #devilsbridge #wanderer #hikearizona #nature Sedona was absolutely stunning. My only regret is I didn't budget more than a few hours here. Beautiful views from the top! The beautiful red rocks This trip was a great example of why you should pay very close attention to trail markers. I wound up going up the wrong way to get to the top. I got there. But I'm sure there could've been a much less scary way to do it than sliding across one of the rock ledges.
Great hike overall. Beautiful scenery when you get to the top!
Love Sedona. The soldier pass trail in Sadona AZ!
Beautiful trail to hike and enjoy this huge colorful sandstone!
We did this trail with our dog, make sure to bring enough water, could get really hot!
This trail is 4.2 mile, there's a small parking area that you could park for free!
#Sadona#Arizona#dayhike#dogfriendly#patterns Sedona I wished I had researched this area a little bit more before we hiked it cause I found out later that there was a side trail directly to the arches from the soldiers pass trail that we did not look for nor seen. It would of been cool to hike up to these. We did a loop, up Soldiers Pass and down Brins Mesa. I think the clockwise route we took was a good choice as we saw most of the landmarks on the way up and seem a little less elevation gain. A side note about the trailhead. It only holds 14 cars and gates automatically shut at 6. Get there early. We were late and had to park on one of the few side streets that did not have a no parking sign on it. Pizzas and paninis. Who could ask for more in beautiful Sedona, AZ? Devil's Bridge in Sedona, Arizona.
Sort of difficult to find the trail. It's off road a bit but 85% of the hike isn't too bad (not too steep or involve lots of climbing). Only the last bit to get to the bridge there's a bit of steep climbing but it's fairly minimal. In total it's about a 4-4.5 mile hike round trip. The view is absolutely worth it. There's also another outlet/viewpoint before getting to the bridge. Not a difficult hike but one of the most scenic
#takeahike Fantastic 6 mile hike around this entire mountain! Beautiful views of Sedona. Devil's Kitchen sinkhole outside Sedona, Arizona. Garlic bagel with cream cheese. This deli is open at 3 am during the summer. Great trail up to the top of Devils Bridge.
Gorgeous sunset tonight in Sedona. It's an optical illusion. Solid hike. Try not to be scared of heights. Great spot for sunset! Beginning of hike to Devil's Bridge. Super awesome hike in Sedona! Our mini Cairn with beautiful Boynton Canyon across.
Sedona is a magical place. This dynamic monotone photograph shows the rugged beauty of the rock buttes around Sedona. Devils Bridge, super cool place. That moment when you are wearing Nike but you just can't do it Sedona! One of my favorite views of Sedona is from Airport Vortex. Almost 360 views! Breathtaking view of the red rocks! Cozy old school Italian with nice piano music during dinner. Christmas Day Hike at Devil's Bridge in Sedona. #TakeAHike Wonderful food at the Barking Frog.
