Perfect spot for our weekend in Cottonwood/Sedona
We absolutely loved this guest house and the adjacent yard with a pool and hot tub! From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed. Glen and Kristen thought of everything to make our stay relaxing and memorable. The pool felt great in the afternoon, and the hot tub was perfect in the evening. The interior of the guest house was extremely clean, cute, and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in town!

Great location in AZ
We went to visit family, but the central location was great. Downtown Cottonwood had cute shops, wineries and restaurants. Close to Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff, Williams and Grand Canyon is a 2 hr drive. The owner, Glen, takes great pride in having 5 star properties and taking care of his guests!

What a perfect place for a getaway. Everything was perfect from the unit itself, to the property and the views around. Cottonwood was such a great little town for our travels to Sedona. Quiet getaway with a view
This was the perfect spot for a nice, quiet getaway. The location was great and close enough to escape away for a day of hiking. Glen and Kristen are great property owners and responded very quickly with whatever we needed! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

A peaceful gateway
Me and husband were looking forward for a relaxing weekend and this was a perfect place to be. I loved every moment we were here. The hosts are so gracious and made our welcome so special. They also had a folder with things to do in and around Cottonwood. The place is so quiet and beautiful and peaceful. The sunrise and sunset are amazing. We spent the first night lying around outside and watching the stars as the sky was so clear and the night view mesmerized us. Go there and find your mental peace.

Amazing stay!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely! The property was immaculately clean and somehow even more amazing than we had envisioned! The outdoor space is phenomenal. Relaxing stay!
A short and easy drive away from Sedona, we enjoyed our 2 night stay at the casita. It lived up to all of the reviews that we had read prior to booking! The backyard is a perfect getaway and the hot tub was amazing. Glen and Kristen were responsive and incredibly helpful hosts. Check-in and check out was easy as well. We also loved meeting Tallulah :) Highly recommend staying here!

Our stay here was wonderful. The description is very accurate and it is even more beautiful in person. We loved having our morning coffee under the pergola enjoying the beautiful mountain view watching the sunrise. Make sure you take advantage of the hot tub and the star gazing opportunities.

Relaxing retreat
Opening the door to this place was like stepping into your own personal spa. Feels remote but only 10 minutes to town. Very clean and well appointed, with considerate touches. Backyard is awesome. Tallulah the pig is an excellent host 🙂 Other reviews mentioned the internet - mobile was a bit sluggish, but workable. Had no issues streaming on the TV.

Adorable
This little studio is absolutely adorable indoors and so relaxing outdoors. My long time best friend and I stayed here for a belated birthday/girls trip. We had a great time and the hosts were both so welcoming, responsive and kind. The indoor and outdoor space are impeccably maintained and the instructions left for each occupant removes any potential roadblocks. Since the area has laws against light pollution, hot tubbing in the evening was even more relaxing as we took in the breathtaking starry sky. Thought I haven’t stayed at any of their other properties, I’d be confident in doing so based on this interaction with the hosts. They were wonderful.

Premium, private experience
Very nice studio unit, separated from the main house for good privacy. Too cold for us to make use of the pool and gazebo, but would be great in warm weather. Hot tub is great for couples and very private. Hosts were great with timely and friendly communications when needed but left us alone otherwise. Great couple escape overall. Hiked all day, romantic relaxation at night. Two minor things to mention: (1) With cold nights you have to run the water for a while before it gets hot. We initially thought the hot water heater was broken, but just needed more patience initially. (2) Internet is a bit slow. We struggled to stream a movie at times. Overall a great place to anchor a romantic visit to the Sedona area.

There is a dedicated hot water heater for just the studio, but yes the water has to get through the pipes and over to the faucet :) Internet has always been consistently sufficient, but possibly compared to a big city it may not always be as strong / consistent.

Perfect in every way!
The Buena Vista was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our 2 week getaway from the cold. Our hosts were gracious and very helpful with recreational and entertainment advice. The efficiency suite was well equipped, well thought out and lacked nothing. The pictures are accurate as the outside area is a dream!

Perfect Private Getaway!
Everything was perfect at this guest house. The hosts have thought of every detail to make their guests comfortable. We loved the hot tub, the fire pit area and the peaceful quiet! The Cottonwood community and the surrounding area have great restaurants and shops, and this was the perfect location to return to after enjoying it all. We would definitely recommend and will return ourselves! The hosts on-site were available if needed, but the guest house is very private. We also loved visits from Tutu, their little pet pig! We couldn’t be happier with our vacation here!

We stayed for 2 nights and were very pleased! The property offered a lot of relaxation in a small area. We loved the gazebo and the hot tub, and also enjoyed grilling out as well. Would recommend to anyone looking to relax and not travel far for a hot tub and private pool

Spectacular in every possible way !!!
The hosts are amazing, great communication before, during and after. The property is SPECTACULAR, feels like an upscale King suite at a very high end hotel. But with a more personal touch. And OMG the view….. And the location, it truly doesn’t get any better than this. This is one of the nicest properties that is run by amazing people. We cannot wait to go back… What a great trip !!!!

A Delightful, Quiet Casa
We enjoyed our stay at the Cottonwood-Verde Village. The room was just right for my husband and I with a perfect little kitchenette to prepare breakfasts before we left to explore each day. When we returned to our casa each afternoon, we enjoyed playing and relaxing in the pool, hot tub and outdoor games. Glen was helpful offering suggestions and making sure our stay was going well. Paradise in Cottonwood
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Buena Vista for seven nights. The backyard is nothing short of an oasis and we enjoyed spending much of our time out there (especially with Tallulah, the little pig). The views are unbelievable, especially at sunset. The hot tub was a dream and stargazing at night was incredible. It was so quiet and peaceful, we could have sat outside for days on end. Additionally, the guest house is simply lovely and well equipped to fit the needs of two guests. Communication with the property owners was excellent from check in, to during the stay, to check out. Glen checked with us frequently to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and if we needed anything. Location is close to downtown Cottonwood and Sedona. Make sure to try out the dining recommendations in Cottonwood! Red Rooster Cafe was one of our favorites.

We will be back!
We had an amazing time at the guest house. Glen and Kristen were amazing hosts and extremely hospitable. The location was breathtaking, pool was relaxing, bed was very comfortable, and there were so many amenities down to “stargazing blankets” and the floating lounge chairs for the pool! We had to pivot our trip plans due to weather and the hosts gave us so many wonderful suggestions of other places to go. We would absolutely be back the next time we are in town. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!

Relaxation at its Best!
Glen and Kristen truly have a gift for hospitality. Couldn’t have felt more welcomed or important. The hosts living quarters is connected on the back wall of their lovely oasis, but you would never know anyone lived there with the privacy they provide. We already miss their piece of paradise and wouldn’t think twice about returning if given the opportunity. Wonderful place for us to stay for our 15th anniversary. Thanks for the memories!

PERFECTION!
This place is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and is stocked with pretty much everything you need while you're on vacation. The bed is super comfy, the backyard is heaven, and we really enjoyed having access to the grill/fire pit. Just a short drive to downtown Cottonwood, Jerome, Clarkddale, and Sedona. Even though it is a guest suite off the main house and the yard is shared, the hosts gave us complete privacy. We really didn't want to leave. Highly recommended staying here!

If you read the overview of this property, that is exactly what you will get when you stay here! And I mean that in a good way :) It's a beautiful, private property with just a short drive to the nearest town of Cottonwood. The hosts even texted us the morning of our reservation date letting us know we could check-in earlier than expected which was much appreciated, and continued to be easy to communicate with/get ahold of throughout the stay. We were sad we didn't get to enjoy the pool or outdoor area much as we would have liked-seeing as the weather was oddly cold for Arizona when we were there...guess we will just have to go come back when it's not snowing and stay here again! :) 5 Stars for sure. Wonderful property, hosts & scenic views.

Beautiful, unique, comfortable, and just PERFECT!
Glen was so very accommodating! My husband and I came down for his 50th birthday and Glenn was kind enough to “pre-decorate” the room for us with decorations I mailed prior to our arrival. The room was so warm and welcoming and we loved stargazing. Many, many special touches and thoughtful items made this place PERFECT for us. Cottonwood is an awesome little place: lots to see and do. We are so happy with our stay at Pura Vida. Absolutely beautiful property, not far from all the must sees this area has to offer! We loved seeing Talulah the pig, Charlie the cat, tortoises, and all the chickens right on site. Helped us when we were missing our pets back at home! We definitely recommend staying here. Owners are very sweet and have plenty of recommendations for things to do/places to eat, etc.

My husband and I, from Wisconsin, stayed and felt right at home. It was our first time ever in Cottonwood. Communication was exceptional. Very friendly Hosts. Very clean room, with full amenities and all the updated comforts of home. We ended up having a little fire at the pit and was super relaxing. Sunsets and Sunrises are amazing. Perfect fit for the relaxing, easy vacay we wanted
Great location: Out of the hustle and bustle of Sedona, gorgeous scenery and openness right out our doors, convenient access to Sedona and its offerings, closer still to the stress-free, relaxed, friendly, free parking town of Cottonwood. Lots of good restaurants, a nice variety of restaurants!, interesting little shops full of well-priced goodies of all kinds! I mean, we loved it all and were much more pleased than we expected with our entire vacation experience! The Buena Vista experience: was everything it advertises and Glen was amazingly responsive and helpful by text/phone and never intruded on our privacy. The general environment of Buena Vista, the quiet and calm, reinforced the sense of relaxation that we needed. The shower has great water pressure, the bed was super comfy, we never wanted for dishes or other kitchen items, Glen offered to replace our towels after a couple days with fresh ones. They even had ground coffee for our use to get us started! It was too cold for us to use the pool but we enjoyed the backyard space a couple times at happy hour. Very tidy all around and Just lovely, lovely, lovely. The unexpected delight was the animals who quietly live on this expansive property: Tallulah the miniature pig, several hens tidily kept in a large fenced area with a hen house, a dog and cats and maybe more to come! We loved this vacay and want to return. When we do we will definitely, no doubt! be returning to Buena Vista. Thank you, Glen and Kristen!

A Perfect Getaway!
Quiet neighborhood close to Sedona and Jerome without the noise and congestion of Sedona proper. Guesthouse was everything it promised to be inside and out. Property manager was very helpful with answering questions and making great recommendations. We fell in love with old town Cottonwood. Great restaurants and wine tasting. Definitely would love to stay here again on our next visit.

This guest house was very comfortable and clean. It had everything we wanted for a three night stay. The owners were very helpful in advising us about the surrounding area hikes, which aided us well in avoiding huge crowds. The welcoming basket was a definite plus. My husband enjoyed all the extra snacks provided. The only minor complaint would be the pillows. They were too full and too hard, which is actually good for support for sitting on bed and watching tv, but hard on neck when sleeping. I prefer flatter and softer pillows.

Clean and quiet with all the necessities needed for our weekend stay. We relaxed outside our door near the pool sipping coffee in the morning and sat by the open out door fire by night. We also saw a heard of wild Javelina just outside the fence one morning. Nice and relaxing stay, close to Sedona and Jerome. And close to many things in Cottonwood as well even though its away from the main street in town.

Perfect Getaway!
I truly loved my stay here. Although it's a guest house, you really do get all the privacy you need. The entire backyard is completely yours during your stay. The pool is perfect. The owners were kind enough to keep the cover on all morning until I was ready in the afternoon to swim to keep at a warmer temp. The view of the moutains is amazing! The neighborhood is far away from the city so it's very quiet. This is your perfect stay to get away from the city life! BOOK NOW! 👍
