Everything was pretty good till the end.

The hotel was good in the beginning. The hotel room was what we asked for but since its a dog hotel, the room had some hair left from previous dogs and made me sniffle and have watery eyes. We have a dog but its hypoallergenic so my allergic reaction is fine with my dog.
My issue with the hotel this time because Hamptons are usually really good is that the hotel never mentioned the dog fee until the day of checkout when they handed me a receipt for a $25 charge on my bill. $25 is not much, but if your like me, you dont want SURPRISE charges taken from your account without authorization. The other thing that really bugs me is that the manager on duty told me I should have read their website where it states the $25 dog fee! I didnt use their site for my bookings.
I have since received the money back from my credit card company, but this is not the proper way of doing business. The charge should be on the "check in" form and have you initial it so there is no confusion. The fee was NEVER mentioned to me on check in and it was made VERY clear to them on check in I had a pet.
