Booking with Expedia

Posted Nov 9, 2015
Arrived at this out of the way hotel with my epedia confirmation in hand and was turned away with no vacancies. Sadly walked away and booked a hotel on my own about 75 miles away.

Pros: I didn't like anything about the hotel.
Location: Located in a busy area, lots of places to eat, only two hotels in the area.
First impression, not a good experience. Was told by clerk, I didn't have a reservation in spite of having a confirmation number because the hotel doesn't deal with Expedia any longer. My reservation was for two nights but they didn't have any rooms available. This was very upsetting to me, the clerk didn't seem to care.

Terrible Hotel with a ridiculous Breakfast, Pool

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Location is close to the freeway and is visible and easily found.
Cons: Breakfast needs to be totally changed. Pool needs to be closed, removed from the listing because the size is very small not enough- only 20 ft wide.
Location: Location is in the city of Senatobia and you may visit nearby locations as this hotel is very close to the ramp.
When I went there the hotel did not my reservation records at all. The attendant said they have not been receiving the reservations for the last 5 months. Finally when I received the room the condition of the room was tolerable. Breakfast that was included was the biggest joke. During the last 3 decades I have stayed at several dozen hotels. The breakfast at this one comes just after the most terrible breakfast I saw (never had) at Red Roof Inn in Kissimme, FL. At this location- America's Best Value Inn they gave me the breakfast of cheap glazed donuts and a cereal in the jars. The 2 cereal jars, where you turn the knob to drop the cereal in the bowl had the labels of Kellog's frosted flakes and Kellog's raisin bran. However, the actual cereal was some cheap material, bought elsewhere, about which I am not quite sure. The bagels, bread and muffin would make your appetite go away. This is one place where no one was having breakfast. I have never visited a place where I found no one there having breakfast that was free and included in your bill, although the hotel was completely full with so many people that were walking by. The pool was so small and so dirty that there was none in site within 20 yards. The pool was more like a larger tank. The gate was chained shut.

The Nastiest Place I've ever been to.

Posted May 14, 2015 on Hotels
Upon arrival the clerk stated that she did not have our reservation. When we got to the room it was filthy. The drapes were so filthy they wouldn't stay closed. The towels and wash cloths were very hard and had big yellow stains on them. The blanket had a big burn hole in it and the bed skirt was dirty and wrinkled. We went to Wal-Mart and bought sheets and pillow cases and wash clothes and towels to bathe with. There was no other hotel in a 50 mile radius available due to the Old Miss graduation. The lobby was filthy with raggedy cabinets and a sign saying continental breakfast as if I was really going to eat there. We were appalled and they should be taken off your list they do not represent you well. Embarrassing and filthy. It should be bulldozed. It had a stench of filth that made me keep wiping my mouth because just walking in the room you could tel there was filth in the air.

Ole miss graduation

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Only one available due to college graduation in the area.
Cons: Needs updating really old and musty.
Location: Only slept there was all.
Arrived and asked for a room on the first floor was told hotel was sold out and there wasn't a room on the first floor. Booked a non-smoking room ...Went to room it was a smoking room. Asked to be moved and fortunately there was a room. 2nd room was ok. Spent the night and left the next morning. Didn't stay 2nd night drove into Memphis instead.
