This hotel was nice- giving it 4 stars because we stayed at a few other properties throughout our trip which were really unique and interesting.

I was in Rm 303 on 4/7 and there was something in the overhad room that sounded like a bowling ball being rolled into a pilow which occured most of the night, Most annoying. As it did NOT occur on the night of the 8th, I assume it was someone on the 4th floor. Another guest two doors away from me related the same experience, Jen, at the front desk, was a gem and was helpful in getting a dinner reservation on a very busy night.

Probably the cleanest room I've ever stayed in !!! BUT...(there is always a but) too much noise from outside and the hallway or other rooms (loud footsteps) car/truck noise, 8am TRAIN Whistle !!!! Remote for TV didn't work- had to go back to the receptionist and the elevator REEKED of cigarette smoke !!!! and 2 of the 5 lights did not work. Great location, nice facility Absolutely Spotless !! they did the important things SOOO very well...but can't everything work corrrectly ???? Most

We got to meet AC~DC members and just was a great nite to visit.Del Logo Casino Thank you for the offer for shuttle service. We drove; Waterloo needs more lights from Hampton Inn to Casino

Kudos to the front desk staff who worked over the Christmas holiday. They were pleasant and helpful. Also a shout out to the housekeeper and front desk associate who found my items that I had left in my room when I departed on Tuesday, Dec. 26th. They were so helpful!

Well maintained property. They had the little extras like coffee and tea always available in the main area. The staff was extremely accommodating.

Disappointing one night stay
While our stay overall was ok (we were there only for one night), we were very disappointed with the room. For > $160 per night we expected much better. Problems: 1. The heating/AC unit had such a loud fan, we couldn't sleep until we turned it off completely. 2. One of the beds squeaked very badly, even for the slightest move. 3. There was no fan in the bathroom. The passive ventilation vent did nothing to remove the steam. The filter was clogged with dust.

The Lady who checked us in a Day early spent extra time trying to set us up with the same room we had booked for the next 2 nights, it was a very pleasant experience to see exceptional nice people at their jobs

Entrance into the hotel driveway from the street is poorly marked and confusing. Excellent breakfast buffet, spacious room. Hotel does not clean rooms for a multi-night stay unless requested; I did request at check in but the service was not done - annoying . Pool water was very cloudy so we didn’t use the pool.

After an evening with friends, we came back to the hotel. As we were getting ready for bed, we pulled back the covers and there was a bug. My husband went to the front desk with a picture of the bug. Told them we were leaving. They said they would leave a message for the manager. We called today the manager was not in. The person on the phone said that we could not get a refund through them as we booked through hotels.com.

Staff was very nice and welcoming, but we checked out a day early because it wasn't a very good hotel. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, very little water pressure in bathroom sink, and the air conditioner wasn't working properly - it was cool, but very noisy and rattled all night. I'm spoiled by other Hampton Inns and expected a hot tub in the pool area and outdoor seating area - this hotel had neither. There was construction going on in the lobby, they were out of shower gel, etc.

There were a couple things that were malfunctioning on our floor and in our room, but the staff were amazingly attentive and took care of it. I would recommend this motel, two friends or relatives.
