Hotel was not close to anything ; checked in our first room facing a wall and laundry facility with clogged sink. Staff at check-in were not very friendly or welcoming. Switched rooms to a phone that wasn't working and got 2 double beds instead of 1 King. The next day, ordered breakfast but at 8am, they were out of a lot of menu items. Pool was very dirty as were the chairs. Expected better from a 4-5 star hotel in Singapore.

Improve your check in experience please

Pros: The hotel amenities, facility was really good. Can tell the refurbishment made from the old Beaufort pays attention to details. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: For a '5 star luxury' hotel, check in experience has to improve. Staff was cold, inflexible towards accommodating to guest need.
one of the worst check in experience I ever had. Read many negative reviews this is going to be an issue, however I thought gave it a go, probably its not really that bad. Turns out the negative reviews on check in were correct. You don't feel they are going all the extra length to help you. Basically just following hotel procedures etc. Some requests for the room (baby chair) made before arrival was not done despite taking the trouble to drop a message. Small things really however for a self claim '5 star luxury' hotel, you would expect better. Le Bar was really hot in the mid afternoon sun. Using the word 'warm' will be a major understatement. The hotel ought to do something about it. Thumbs up to the staff at Le Bar who clearly tried his best to make sure you are as comfortable as possible, although he can't do anything with the heat. There was an issue when housekeeping just get in the room and asked if there was laundry... Did not even check if guests were inside the room and just get in.

Not a 4* hotel

Pros: The pool area and communial areas were good.
Cons: The staff could be more helpful, mainly at check in.
Location: The hotel is close to a beach, however there are many steps (over 100) to access the beach.
We arrived in the eatly eveining (5pm) and was informed our room was not ready and that it was not the room we booked. Room was clean but some sockets were very loose off the wall. Tiles in the bathroom and shower were missing and loose. The main bed was good however the sofa bed or additional single bed (very small single) was not suitable for older children. Overall very dissappointing and not value for the amount it cost.

Great hotel with excellent staff

We stayed one night here and were impressed by the room which was large and beautifully appointed as well as immaculately clean. The staff were also great and accommodated our request for early check in and the facilities were.

Nice hotel at the heart of Sentosa for family

Pros: Everything - smooth very early check in, very helpful staff, good room, nice facilities, breakfast, very efficient shuttle service in Sentosa and Vivo
Cons: Room rent is too high
Location: Normal Sentosa stuff
Very pleasant stay ...staff were welcoming and eager to help ...They kept my luggage for 4 days after I checked out as I did not want to take them on the cruise ...recommend it to all family travelers

Close to tanjong beach

Love the hotel and its grounds. Its nicely decorated with artworks and scultures every where and in the room. It has a boardwalk thru the forest to tanjong beach which is nice except its not litted up at night n pitch black. Otherwise hotrl is abit inaccessible being quite deep in and hav to rely on shuttle bus to go out.

GOOD!

Old chairs at kwee zeen restaurant outdoor seat

I was disappointed with old chairs at kwee zeen restaurant's outdoor seats. Non maintained facilities didn't look like 5 stars hotel.

Wonderful resort. High quality but not too stuffy and formal. Luxury room was lovely as were the public areas and restaurants. Staff were all very friendly, efficient and professional. Excellent free shuttle services to nearby Vivo City Mall and to Orchard Road. Number 3 local free bus also great for getting around Sentosa Island.
