The staff was absolutely amazing! They were generous and patient with us as we communicated throughout the stay. The breakfast was phenomenal as well. The only problems were that we were upgraded to the executive suite and were plagued by the sound of moving chairs all day from the executive lounge above. This woke us up every morning. There was also the issue of a lack of English cc for the television or non news channels for English speakers. This was an inconvenience, but not a serious issue. The spa was amazing and the staff there were great. Amazing hotel overall

I was looking forward to Conrad because it was my first time, but it wasn't good. Especially, I was surprised that the floor of the room was messy. I was surprised how such a luxury hotel could be so messy.

The front desk staff at Conrad Seoul were unwelcoming when we asked for an early check-in, despite being an Expedia Gold member. They informed us that early check-in was subject to availability, which we completely understood. They mentioned that they would message me when the room became available between 1:30-2:30 pm, so we decided to wait at a restaurant from 12 noon. However, by 2:30 pm, we had not received any notification, so we returned to the hotel to check, only to discover that the room was indeed available, but we had not received any message even though we were using the same mobile SIM card. On our last night, we requested a one-hour late check-out, but once again, we encountered an unfriendly front desk staff member who seemed visibly frustrated with her paperwork. Upon check-in, we asked for additional amenities and towels, as my family and I preferred not to have housekeeping service. To our surprise, the customer service representative questioned why we needed so many items. We had paid for accommodations for four people, but we were unable to obtain the amenities we were supposed to receive. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the service at Conrad Seoul, especially considering the rates were not cheap.

We liked the location of the hotel. It was easily accessible to IFC mall, The Hyundai Department Store, subway station, etc. The hotel room was too dark and the furnitures seemed to be little old & faded.

The staff at the Conrad Seoul were gracious and friendly. Also, the property was at an ideal location, surrounded by two large shopping malls (The Hyundai Seoul and the IFC), restaurants and the Yeouido subway station.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The location is the best, you can literally take the elevator downstairs to a three story mall, or walk through a tunnel to the Hyundai Seoul mall which is very high-end. The breakfast has a lot of food options but I still think it could’ve been a little better. I think the big thing you’ll find is there’s not anybody coming up to your table asking if you want coffee or refills. Other than that this day was phenomenal. They even have a Starbucks in the lobby downstairs. As far as catching a cab you kinda have to be lucky when it’s coming around. So I would talk to a person there and ask them to call you a cab if you need one and have it set up.

this may have been a 5 star hotel 10 years ago. but by today's standards far from it. we upgraded to the master suite because the 517sqft rooms were a stuffy 517sqft. the AC was luke warm and spotty at times, the carpet was old and stretched out and lumpy in the living room area. the light controls were confusing and random. the TVs were outdated and had no media capability at all. (youtube, netflix, etc..) they had google chromecast units attached but theyre unusable as these units dont support captive portal authentication and the only way you can connect and configure them is to connect to the hilton honors wifi network. pointless. the master bathroom is luxurious.. but not for the $700/night. the stone floor in the shower was slimey and slippery in places because its not been cleaned properly from all the soap and water deposits. the stone vanities are water stained and spotted... no care has been taken by the management to make these suites presentable. the only bright spot was the staff of the SPA. my girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience in our couples massage.
