Clean small room with bulk bed and private toilet
You pay for what you get. This is a guest house and one night of a room is cheap. I am happy with the private small toilet / shower. Good location: 8 minutes walk from Seoul station. The guy at reception is not very patient. There are 4 keys given, he showed me the room key. I asked about others, he seemed annoyed and said no need to bother. Later I figured out by myself that’s for the shoes box located at the entrance.

Experience left a bad taste
What I booked and what I was given, completely different. I had checked in but wanted to leave after I opened the door to my room. I had contacted Hotels.com customer service and they were very helpful. However the owner was not in and the man at the front desk told customer service that I should stay the night and talk to the owner in the morning. I stayed the one night, I felt uncomfortable because I wanted to leave already. When morning came, I went out to check out and talk to the owner. he was not understanding in anyway. He told me that I was wrong, that I had received what I had booked for even though the photos I remember seeing for my booking was for a different room. And he declined refunding the remaining nights I wasn't going to stay. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Arrived to a very quick checkin. No passport check or any confirmation requested. Was in a small dorm with just one other bed, which was nice. Bed was pretty uncomfortable though. I was checking into somewhere else later that day so waiting until checkout to avoid walking around with luggage and right at 10.58, I’m on the toilet in the room, and the guy’s knocking at the door. I answer and he’s like “check out, now.” I was planning to leave by 11! Let me pee!

Perf for Budget Travellers Who Like Sleep
The images you see are similar to my room, but my room was smaller and felt a little make shift with all the danger signs on the window outside my door. (It is not a balcony, and definitely not a proper fire escape. This place definitely seems to be the spot for budget travellers and backpackers, etc. Two (Korean size) towels were provided. Bed and pillow were not really comfy but I was there for two strenuous days, so I had no issues passing out. Definitely bring ear plugs! I can hear hostel mates coming in, and turning on their aircon. Speaking of, air con was WEAK. They have signs everywhere to turn off the aircon so idk if they adjusted to minimise cost, but it was a struggle to get it work. One of those personal fans would come in handy when you're just cooling off when you first come in/return. The guests there are super respectful, it was very quiet, definitely not a party hostel. The location is very close to the station, although a little challenging to find at first. Also, when it's hot, it's a horrible 7 min walk, so brace yourself. It is conveniently next to a 7 Eleven - perfect for early morning out or late nights in. Definitely would recommend to friends who are durable travellers.

It is rather cheap hostel. But the double bedroom I stayed had water leaked out from the floor. The hotel is not so clean. I had stained bed sheet. My private shower room was terribly small, dirty and smelly. A fat or big size person cannot enter it. The limited available space in front of the basin and water closet just next to it is insufficient to have a proper shower. Dinning area with two small tables for two persons is very congested and messy. I will never want to come to hotel any more eventhogh it is cheap.

Roaches for Days
My room had roaches everywhere. There was still trash in my room when I got there. The sheets had makeup stains. Lots of rude people being loud. Dirty halls with a used toilet sitting on the stairs. Nope, never again.

Go for Maru!
This is a very great place to stay in Seoul. Very accessible to Seoul station where major lines are connected. There's 7/11 at the ground floor of this building. People were very nice and they accomodated me despite my suoer late check in at 2am! I higjly recommend this to all

The Maru Stay
The room was exactly as pictured/described. Great place to crash for the night. No frills and you pay for what you get. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom is frosted glass so you can't see through, but you can hear noises. If you are low budget, this is a good deal. Location was great as well.

Nice staff & easy check-in & check-out. Easy to reach subway train using Exit 15 but not really convenience as the exit separate and far from other subway line.

Near Seoul Station
Good walkable location only 5 minutes from Seoul Station. This review is based on the price paid , definately not any luixury but it is convenient and very good value. Rooms are small but self contained with private bath/shower room. The main good feature is location and value for money in this no frills establishment.

In the good sense of the term, you get what you pay for here. You will save lots of money staying here - and unlike bunk bed hostels, you actually get your own room for the same price. It is a small room with few amenities. Things like microwave or even an electric tea kettle is in the common area. Rooms are narrow and spaced close together, thus privacy is limited. But if you're okay with this, it's an incredible bargain - and in a good location.

It's an OK place to stay
Overall, it's ok. I took the room with the bunk bed, which I regretted taking it as the aircon was really right on top of your head. The place is clean and it's really suitable for a night stay (for bunk bed room).

Very near with seoul station exit 15.only 10 min walk distance. Room clean but to small. I stay 2 night at twin B and 2 night at twin A. Facilities ok, have tv,refrigerator, kitchen, washing machine with dryer but space to narrow in bedroom. If you want near with subway, recommended to stay here. Twin B the top bed to close with the ceiling. Twin A more better.

Good for solo backpacker.
I booked a twin bunk room because there is no 2 single bedroom when I made the booking on the website. The room is.very very small, about 7 sq m, which is totally different from what the information provided. The only thing I like about the room was the bedsheet was clean, at least I dont feel itchy when I sleep on it. This guesthouse is near to exit 3 and exit 15 of the seoul ktx station, cross the road and walk toward.the left side, then walk straight for about 5 mins. Mura guesthouse is about 2 streets away from ss guesthouse, turn right into an alley, which you will see 7-11 store, and Mura guesthouse is right above 7-11 store. If you are travelling with your boyfriend or husband, make sure you book a 2 single bedroom, as the room is slightly bigger and comfortable. As this is.a.guesthouse, dont expect any service at all, you have to go to the.front desk and get towel / toilet paper yourself. To me, this guesthouse is more suitable for solo backpacker and who are really tight in budget, not a.guesthouse for.couple.

Convenient and good value for money
The room I booked was very cheap, but very small. I wouldn't want to stay in the mini room for an extended period, I think, but as a short overnight stop near the train station, it was very practical. There is a small communal kitchen area allowing you to cook your own food as well, which could be helpful if you are staying for any length of time, though I think it's a little at the mercy of the hotel guests at that point. The room had air conditioning, to make for a very pleasant environment in the room, and also had a small shower room, at one end, which wasn't anything fancy, but was clean and serviceable.

Booked 4 nights and escaped from there after 2 nights. A tiny room with water leak from toilet and mould, insects. Even when we checked-in, the room was full of dirts. stain bed sheets with a lot of hair and dirty floor. So? I went to reception and I took new bed sheets and changed by myself. A place never and ever go.
