Perhaps it was the nostalgia of summer camp as a girl but I was pleasantly surprised with the Montecito. Based on some reviews I was a little apprehensive to book here but I'm really glad we did, I would absolutely stay here again. In the two main lodge areas there is a small bar, two large fire ...
We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful place. The staff was very friendly, accommodating. We appreciated their advice for traveling the 2 National Parks. The morning breakfast was delicious. Mars was kind enough to email us her recipes. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to this ...

This is a beautiful hotel with large grounds where weddings are held it's old and could use some renovation but despite that it was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Wi-Fi was ok but a bit slow. Beautiful, relaxing surroundings, we wished we had booked a longer stay, and we were sorry to.leave
At first look, building is older and has some maintenance needs. As night came on it was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast, the host and staff were great! Good location to access Sequoia National Park and to rest after the experience.

The room was very charming, quiet, and well maintained. Sequoia is extremely close and only takes 10 minutes to get to. Definitely a great place to stay if you are heading there.
The owner Maurine was wonderful. She came to check us out in the morning and see if everything is to our liking. Just sad that we only have to stay for a night. We could have stay longer if we don't have to work the next day.
