Pros: Location. Views. Knowledgeable guides. Lovely rooms and central bar area.
Cons: Service on check in and check out and payment.
Location: Dune cli, bing. Walking the Sesriem Canyon. Star gazing.
Fantastic location. Great to be able to see the dunes at sunrise. Our guides were really friendly and knowledgeable and it was amazing to have breakfast under the trees after dune climbing and sitting in wonderment at Dead Vlei. Only problem was checking out when credit card payment would not work. We had to drive to the park entrance accompanied by a staff member to pay our bill there!

Pros: Ability to be on the Dunes at sunrise
Location: Inside the park, great sunset views. Peaceful. Quite a long drive from Walvis Bay, via Solitaire, but easy to find.
This was a lovely place to stay - very relaxing. There was decking outside the rondavel from which we could sit and watch the sunset. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the early morning Dunes trip was a delightful experience, in spite of the cloudy sky. Our breakfast.that day ...... a nice touch provided by the Lodge..........was taken in view of the Dunes, under an Acacia tree, accompanied by Oryx, a black-backed Jackal. and a variety of birds. Although more expensive than other places we stayed in Namibia I think this place was worth it. The breakfasts and evening dinners were good and varied, eaten out in the open air, and the small swimmimg pool was a welcome relief after the heat of the day.
