Nice building and location, but no vibe

Posted Jul 20, 2016 on Hotels
4 star hotel in an ancient building well kept. However, the service, though friendly, needs extra personnel. Rooms are large and clean. Sleeping confort is a bit below the everage for a 4 star hotel, run by Turim group. The area is nice, close to lisbon and the setubal/arrabida beaches and nature.

An 18th century farm house made into an hotel 20 odd years ago . Slightly old fashioned but delightful

Nice Hotel convenient location for our visit.

Posted Jan 31, 2016
Pros: Rooms are large and comfortable.
Cons: Internet in Rooms
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. All services are excellent. Staff is very helpful. Only drawback is that internet is not available in the rooms but only in reception and breakfast. Might be a policy to keep guests out of the rooms and in the Bar?

Pros: The Grounds and the vie from the widows was beautiful. Rooms are spacious and with all good facilities.
Cons: Internet in the rooms could be useful but not necessarily.
We have stayed before and again visiting Azeitaou chose for its location services quality of rooms and the historical aspects.

Nice rural setting

A quaint rural hotel, nice period finishings, with ample gardens and pool. Rooms a bit aged but comfortable. Nearby to great wineries and countryside, although best to have a car. Good hot breakfast.

nice hotel,English breakfast poor and cold,

Posted Oct 9, 2013 on Hotels
This Hotel was very nice , garden was a plus to walk round after a cold breakfast and water cold to make tea. But if you like Continental breakfast, you should be OK. T V very poor for channel options ,for this day and age. No internet connection in the room but good near the lobby did notice this slowed when other guests used this at the same time as i did. The crux of it all is would i stay there again ? Yes i would but a hot breakfast and not just cold egg and bacon might help. maybe some tomatoes or beans even mushrooms ? you will need a car to stay here if you want to get about. Dinner was OK but menu limited and not great value. This overall was a nice hotel just needs that little extra to live up to its 4 star rating

Very nice hotel, and very good service in the restaurant. But food prices are high.
