Outdated ,boring, cold.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: New staff, major rebuild.
Location: Not much at Sines. The free museum at the old fort was OK though.
To be fair, the whole town is a depressing place. The hotel matches this well. Breakfast was bad. Rooms cold, no heating. Beds uncomfortable. Staff unhelpful. The other guests at breakfast seemed to be Russian seamen. Not a place for couples or families.

Quiet and spacious Accomodation

I chose this hotel as a stop over on a coastal trip through Portugal and was not disappointed. Easy to find, good parking and everything in town, including the beach, within walking distance. However, Sines is a mountainous town - so be prepared for some steep climbs and loads of stairs.

Adequate stay

This hotel is in need of some remodeling. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke and could use an update. It was clean though, and the hotel overall was just fine.

Hotel downtown Sines

Pros: The location downtown Sines is good. Breakfast was excellent, and the cleaning personnel did a perfect job taking care of the rooms.
Cons: The receptionists need to act in a more professional manner, and become problem solvers.
Location: Beach, castle and restaurants are nearby.
Some of the personnel at the reception appeared bored out of their minds, and were incompetent . The reception is often left unattended, phone calls are constantly dropped, reservations are not processed, and the personnel can often be seen smoking cigarettes at the hotel entrance. Security does not seem to be taken seriously as anyone can pretend to be a guest having lost their key, and request entrance to a room through housekeeping. The internet is weak and often fails, and most electrical outlets in the room do not work.

Tad depressing

The hotel was mostly empty which made it quite depressing considering its size. The studio was clean and there was nothing in particular wrong.

Internet connection speed is limited to 128 (e-mails only) and requires logging in every time and valid for 2 devices. There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, however it could be found nearby.

Clean, Tidy and Simple

The Sinerama was good value, it was clean, fresh and without any frills. Beds were comfortable and the rooms had basic facilities for cooking if that's what you need. I would re-book if I returned to Sines
