Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was large, and the air con was fantastic but noisy, that was expected. The free Wi-Fi is excellent.
Breakfast was good, everything you could want really. There are some hot options, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes etc. There are cereals, various breads and cakes, fruit and yoghurt and a waffle station. The people who work in the breakfast area are lovely and chatty.
The hotel is set further back from the beach than we thought it would be, as a consequence you go down an alleyway to get to the beach – they mean beach access when they say it rather than actual beach. There is limited room here, limited loungers and the tide does not go out very far to enable this to increase. You are between two other hotels who have beach access. We walked further down the road and bought ourselves a beach umbrella to access more beach, there is a lot of public beach to sit on but you miss out on a bar and easy toilet access if you do this.
The hotel is close to a lovely new shopping and dining area, we went there a few times to eat. There are lots of places to eat nearby which we accessed since I had exhausted the hotel restaurant veggie meals quickly – there was a curry. The pool is very small, so we didn't go in it. There is a bar but there is nowhere to sit and just chill out near it. There is an astroturf lawn area away from the bar, but you miss out on atmosphere and human company, and it feels like an afterthought. Tables
