Lovely hotel, great staff!

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at Sandy Haven. The staff, reception, wait staff, bartenders (loved these guys), security, and drivers were all very professional and very welcoming. Breakfast and lunch were good, had a yummy snapper for dinner and the drinks were great....get the mango daiquiri!!

Beautiful bouquet hotel !!!!

Pros: The boutique style, specious room. Great location.
Cons: We were very disappointed because for all days we stay the swimming pool was closed. Jacuzzi was dirty.
The beach is gorgeous,clean and warm water. Very nice staff/ Genoy thank you so much to make us smile. The food was good. I like size of the property/ not too big. Love the room, very specious and comfortable.

Some staff are extremely helpful and nice, some seem like they don't want to be there and one has a sense of hierarchy and entitlement. If you're looking for a good location, this is right in the middle of 7 mile. If you're looking for a comfortable bed, room with good AC, hot water and a stable lol, maybe look elsewhere. We chose Sandy as second stop, we were in Montego for 5 and Negril for 2. Boy did we want to go back so bad. At check in our keys were ready, a group of friends traveling together. Out of curiosity asked if our rooms were near each other. We were given some type of answer with lots of attitude. Checking out was the same way, she was so busy giving someone else the stink eye that it took away from my time. I figured my room quality would be a one off but the minute I saw my friends again we asked each other the same questions, 1. Is you're room really hot? 2. Is you're bed extremely firm and by firm, we mean like sleeping on plywood. Would I stay there again? Most likely not.

Wonderful staff!! We had a leaking air conditioner that was eventually repaired but not before wetting the sheets on two ocassions. The housekeepers responded immediately to replace the linen and dry the floor. On the first occurrence the housekeeper assigned to the room left for the day because her shift was over but the housekeeping manager graciously stayed and replaced all of the bedding. The room was serviced twice per day and the grounds are maintained throughout the day. The management and staff take pride in maintaining a very comfortable and safe environment. The owner and management of the Sandy Haven Resort are striving to become the best in Negril.

Would recommend Sandy Haven Resort to everyone, whether business or pleasure. Location was perfect, loaded with amenities, pool, hot tub, exercise room, dining room, open patios, beach chairs, bar, gift shop, everything to either be inclusive or a place to start exploring from. Perfect size resort to still keep the personal touch. Attention to detail was very apparent. The Resort is clean, fresh and modern decor. Dining was a pleasure and food delicious. Any allergy concerns taken care of on request. Any requests either before or during the stay were handled seamlessly. The resort staff were like an amazing family that worked so well together to make things flow. Always greeting guests with a smile and treating them like they were the only ones that mattered. My compliments to all, but personally, a few that I had more interaction with stood out. Nice work Pops, Ms Sinclair, Theresa, Nadeen and Genoy, your friendship and work ethics outstanding. Others that I missed behind the scenes are also to be congratulated. My highest compliments to Ann for sharing such a beautiful vision. Well Done!

Nice hotel but dinner options lacking.

Pros: Staff and room were great. Check-in, bar staff, maid service, all were great!
Cons: Quality dining should be available.
Location: Snorkeling okay. Best in the West Restaurant across the street has good affordable food.
This was our tenth time to Jamaica, ninth to Negril. The hotel staff and rooms were great. We met three other couples at the hotel and we all only ate at the hotel once for dinner due to a poor experience. We had all decided to eat at the hotel special night dinner by the beach with a steel drum band. It was a buffet and the food was running out before our first visit to the food tables as we were given scrapings from the bottom of the pans. We had paid $120 that night for dinner, drinks, and tip which was extremely overpriced which is what every couple felt and why we all did not frequent the hotel restaurant. Lunch at the bar was great, but fish availability was hit or miss. I ordered fish for lunch on one occasion and it was outstanding, but every other day it was not available. The hotel needs consistent dining options which is a huge factor in enjoying this location as walking down the beach can be sketchy at times due to safety, especially in the evening. Something that seemed minor, but was an issue, was that the room's water at times did not work, but would come on later.
