Convenient but disappointing.
First review I’ve ever written after 25 years of extensive international travel. While the hotel is convenient…it does not meet business travel standards, especially for the price. TV didn’t work, size of a computer screen, no USB outlets, breakfast was very basic. I prefer to stay ‘in’ an airport and do regularly. For future trips will look outside the Madrid airport.

Not the best!
Rooms are very small. No concierge service to help with travel or restaurants. No outdoor pool. Front desk area had unpleasant odor. Very basic hotel, but also cheaper. Would opt for something better next time.

The lady in the coffee area is great (blond hair). Guys in reception very good. The lady in the reception is awful to deal with. Miserable face all the time and not helpful.

The hotel was convenient, clean, and a good kitchen selection. However the place is loud - guests coming all hours of night and loud. Could hear in hallway and neighboring rooms.

Taxi fares from the airport in Seville are outrageous. We paid € 35 for a 5 minute ride and the driver was incredibly rude. Why did we have to pay this? Because the Marriott does not operate a shuttle service. If you are going to locate your hotel next to an airport, then make a shuttle available. I ended up going back the next day by UBER for € 8,00. Imagine if I had paid € 70 for two 5 minute taxi rides. Not a great introduction to what is truly one of the great cities in Spain. Once again, rip off the tourists. Perhaps everyone needs to think back to COVID and what happened when tourism disappeared!

A few bits and pieces could improve ….
We enjoyed our stay the first time and we came back again a few days later to stay again. The staff was very kind and pleasant. As mentioned before the breakfast does get boring day after day. The gym was great and the pool area could use more loungers. Overall the location was super and convenient too.

It was good but breakfast could be better (fresh made tortilla de patata isn’t hard to have it made). I would say about the fact bed is divided and the pillow aren’t very confortable. VERY clean and friendly deskfront.

Property is beautiful and luxurious, but nothing walkable. Glad we had a rental car and parling was free. But we picked this hotel mainly for 2 reasons, pool, and they have a turkish spa, both were closed! We felt a. It scammed for pahing the extra ticket price to stay at this hotel to find those amenities werent available to us.

How does this Property rate a Marriot name?
The only way this property rates a Marriot name is that it has a restaurant that serves sub-par food at exorbitant prices. The desk clerk was ashamed to admit that there are better restaurants with lower prices within walking distance. The bathroom has no ventilation, and the bathtub only a glass that separates halfway; so the water from the shower ends up on the floor causing a slip and slide on the marble floor. The mirrors were so fogged up, that I needed to wait 15 minutes for the room ventilation to clear the air before shaving. There are only two free outlets (no USB ports) to charge devices. With 2 people and 3 devices (computer, cell phone, and watch), we had to play Merry-Go-round to get everything charged. This place is stuck in 1999.

stayed 4 nights as a base to explore the area. staff was excellent and very kind. breakfast was very good. windows are sound proof so you do not hear the highway nearby. however, if you have noisy neighbors, you will hear them. walking distance to supermarket.

Very happy with our choice. Bathroom spacious and had washcloths. Bed comfortable with pillows choices. Easy parking. Breakfast with reasonable selections and coffee to go. Door to bathroom is glass and not soundproof.

We were flying out the next morning to return home to the U.S. because of Covid-19. Like everyone they were in the process of shutting down do set ices were limited, but as Americans accustomed to a coffeemaker in ever room we couldn't image that they had NO coffee available at all that morning. As a U.S. chain, this was unacceptable. Also, the AC didn't seem to be working and our room was very warm all night.

There is no complimentary coffee/tea, no iron and ironing board in the room. You can hear noise from the other room especially when the housekeeping staff are cleaning the rooms, you can hear the banging of the doors and conversations.
