Quaint and central
A quaint hotel in the centre of the historic district. Extensive buffet breakfast available. Everything is in easy walking distance, even the necropolis. Lots of good tapas bars nearby. The hotel is not easy to find but we found car parking nearby.

Carmona is a great place for a quiet long weekend to get away from it all. For a couple winter-battered Brits it was just the ticket -- long lunches sitting outside in the town square, leisurely ambles through the scenic lanes, and watching the resident storks with their fledgelings. Like Carmona itself, it's brimming with history, and peaceful and doesn't stint on comfort. Our room was light-filled and spacious, with double doors opening onto a small balcony overlooking an interior courtyard, with views onto the lovely church tower and adjacent convent. Everything you'd want to explore

Unfortunately, poor room and worse service
Both our rooms were completely interior, and the en-suites were actually just behind partitions so the rooms smelt of damp, toilets, drains, showers. Parking is almost impossible - the staff offered no solutions. I reserved three nights but had to leave after two nights because of a family emergency - the hotel insisted I paid for three nights anyway. My companion then moved to Alcazar de la Reina 200m away and said it was wonderful...

To anyone reading the above review, we´d like to make very clear that before posting this review, this customer threatened us several times by email, saying that he would post a negative review of our establishment if we did not offer him some sort of reimbursement. Actually, he went as far as offering us to post a "positive review" of our hotel, instead of a negative one, as long as we agreed to give him a reimbursement for the night he ended up not spending with us, even though his reservation was nonrefundable. Although we always hope that all our customers have a pleasant experience with us, we totally understand that some might not be as happy as we expected with our establishment, so we welcome everyone´s feedback to continue improving. However, this customer crossed the line when he tried to blackmail us, so as far as we´re concerned, his opinions are totally discredited and we actually had to contact our local authorities in order to know how to proceed.

Off the beaten path
What a charming little hotel in one of our favorite towns in Spain! Small, intimate, quiet. Rocio was a very pleasant employee (she needs to give Carmen a couple of lessons in how to be nice to customers). The little courtyards and sitting room were delightful.

An interesting spot
Carmona is such a picturesque town of cobbled, narrow and winding streets. El Rincon De Las Descalzas was a little difficult to find on our first pass through the town (we used our GPS) but once located it proved to be an enjoyable stopping place for touring the area. There is no designated parking area near the hotel for your car but we were always able to find a spot within a few blocks radius of the hotel. Our accommodation had two tiny balconies - one off the bedroom and one off the living area. Those who enjoy tub bathing would find the bathroom more to their liking than those of us who prefer to shower (hand held with frequent water temperature changes). A hair dryer is not supplied and the electrical lighting is quite dim but all spaces in the hotel are very clean. There are several interior, outdoor patios to enjoy - whether at breakfast or at other times. Here you can sit among the lovely potted plants and listen to the song of a myriad of birds. The breakfast offered was not as plentiful as some but perfectly adequate and the coffee was excellent. The staff are all very friendly and willing to be of help. Do not pass up their restaurant recommendation - it is a bit more costly than some establishments you might find but the food and presentation are exceptional.

I shall always remember it for church bell chiming
We liked the stay and were impressed with hard working staff but parking was not possible and we left the car 10 minutes walk away.The bell of nearby church chimes every half an hour throughout the night so light sleepers beware. Despite this "problem" I would still stay there again. When I learn more Spanish!

recommend but not the Clara room
The hotel is well situated, very clean and breakfast buffet was really good. We were upgraded on arrival to the Clara Room but there was absolutely no privacy with an inner court yard below and the room opposite could see in so we could not open the curtains. Staff very friendly.

The bells
Staff were very friendly. The Hotel has many pretty features, including lovely small patios with fountains. We could not receive any English - speaking TV in the room. Breakfast was a good help-yourself buffet. The Hotel was difficult to find, but was easily within walking distance of everywhere that you would wish to visit in Carmona. The Hotel is close to a working bell tower, and the hourly peal is definitely audible!

Habitación bastante sucia, tanto el mobiliario cómo las paredes, con moho y mucha olor a humedad. Desayuno muy tardío para trabajadores, a partir de las 8,30 h, por lo que me tuve que ir sin desayunar tras haberlo pagado. Personal muy amable, pero las instalaciones por muy emblemáticas que sean están descuidadas y sucias.

Hotel con encanto en una casona antigua reformada
Un hotel con bastante encanto, en pleno centro y muy cerca de todo. La recepcionista, amable como ella sola, nos asignó una habitación con ventana a un patio, muy acogedora. La habitación tranquila, limpia y con aseo muy limpio también. La cama cómoda.

Hotel pequeño y tranquilo en el centro de Carmona. Es un palacio antiguo rehabilitado con buen gusto. Los servicios que ofrecen son básicos, no hay restaurante (solo sirven el desayuno)ni parking, pero hay muchos restaurantes cerca y también se puede recurrir al servicio a domicilio. También es fácil aparcar el coche cerca en espacios gratuitos. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y algunas tienen chimenea dentro. El personal que atiende es muy muy amable.

Muy acogedor y bonito. Cogimos dos habitaciones dobles ( 2 adultos y 2 niños), una de ellas muy pequeña (la que daba al patio interior), el lavabo sobretodo la puerta tocaba con el wc. En general hotel sencillo y acogedor. Buenas limpieza.
