Calm and convenient

Posted Apr 5, 2017
Pros: Very low key and relaxing
Location: Plenty of opportunity to experience the Spanish way of living and close enough to the wonderful history and facilities
This hotel is a perfect place for a quiet break It is in between the old and new areas of Savilla and provides an excellent place to start and finish the day

Nice hotel with friendly staff

Enjoyed staying there. A bit away from main attractions. Would be even nicer during warmer weather so you can use the roof garden and pool.

Love this hotel!

Posted Oct 19, 2016
Pros: The staff, the location, the ambience, the restaurant
Cons: All good for us
Location: Location a 10 minute stroll from all the important sightseeing destinations - Alcazar, the Cathedral and Plaza de Espania.
Great location, wonderful friendly and helpful staff. We loved the decor - a calm oasis after a busy day. The open courtyards for eating and relaxing in were lovely. Also really appreciated the roof top pool area - a welcome area to chill and take in a fascinating roof top view.

Beautifully designed hotel close to city centre

Posted Sep 18, 2016
The hotel is exactly as advertised. The room was very comfortable and very quiet, we slept very well. The communal areas are beautiful and very relaxing places to be. The pool is lovely and where we spent most of our holiday. The restaurant was surprisingly good quality and OK value for money. The staff were lovely and attentive when required. We will stay again.

Beautiful hotel with great staff

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Cons: Our only points of constructive criticism would be that the rooms aren't sound proof and there isn't a lot of space at the pool area.
Location: Perfect location with everything in walking distance. Great bars and restaurants close by
We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff could not be more efficient or friendly. We were even given a free upgrade to a beautiful deluxe room with huge round bathtub. We will most definitely be back!

Felt as though we were staying in a friend's house

Posted Aug 28, 2016
Pros: Very pretty, slightly outside the heavy tourist area around the Cathedral
Cons: Sound proofing as the noise from neighbours running a bath was a bit loud.
Location: The Cathedral Palace Gardens Bull ring and shops all within 15-20mins walk. Hotel booked us a cab to amazing Ittalica, he waited for us only 50Euros
Beautiful building, comfy seating areas and library, fresh fruit freely available to guests.Very clean, all staff attentive, polite and helpful. Rooftop pool a must as it was so hot, great way to wind down after a day sightseeing, good bar snacks, room service and dining room menu.

Don't be fooled.

Posted Oct 4, 2015 on Hotels
This is an expensive chain hotel with little regard for their guests, disguised as a quaint and charming spot. Don't be fooled. This could be a very nice hotel, however, it is very expensive for what it is, I would not recommend it. After staying in another Hospes chain hotel, it seems that the Hospes chain is really just to make money considering the outrageous price of our tiny room here, 25 euros for parking (when the website says "self-parking" and nothing about a surcharge), 22 euro breakfast buffet, and incredibly expensive massages. Our room was tiny, with a small double bed, barely any room to put a suitcase or walk around and a very small window on to the courtyard, which provided little to no lighting. For a $200/night room, this was ridiculous. Check in also took FOREVER. We sat in the courtyard for almost an hour waiting to get checked in. As hotel owners ourselves, we know that check in should not take this long and should be a quick and easy process to get the guests to their room as efficiently as possible. The staff were nice and friendly, but there are obviously things that need to be improved upon. It's a very charming hotel, but certainly not worth the price (especially with no services included in the price). It's also not very centrally located, we walked at least 15 minutes to get anywhere we were interested in going.
