Pleasant enough hotelPosted Nov 8, 2015
I had no preconceptions about this hotel and hadn't read any reviews. Wasn't expecting the earth as got a relatively cheap deal for a 3 star hotel. Upon arrival was pleasantly surprised at the entrance, welcome by staff and room. The room was very comfy and with an en suite that had a very powerful shower. Very clean, fridge, safe, wifi all at no extra cost. The bed and pillow were super comfortable and had a fantastic nights sleep. Found 10 euros for breakfast pretty steep, so didn't sample this. Not much to grumble about other than some of the staff couldn't speak English, but again no biggie as only enforced an extra effort to try and speak the local language which was fun. My flight home was cancelled and was most happy to spend an extra night at this hotel.

Nice hotel in the old townPosted Oct 21, 2015
Pros: Close to other bars and restaurants and close proximity to the historical centre. On the fringe of a very vibrant area.
Location: Free 3hr guided tour with pick up, walking, from the hotel. Ideal position for the historical centre.
Lovely hotel with very nice staff. Good breakfast with a choice of hot or cold food. Next door is their own tapas bar with a good choice of food and wine/beer. The hotel was also very quiet.

Last minute booking got strange roomPosted Sep 10, 2015
Pros: Nice looking hotel. Location is very good and centrally located in historic district
Cons: Room need renovation
Location: Centrally located in historic district. Easy to walk around, to all destinations. Many shops and restaurant around.
Booked this hotel late night a few hours before arriving and got a room on ground floor. The hotel is 2-1/2 or 3 stars at most. Room entrance was right from dining hall, room had no windows but had door to small court which is an enclosed area, enclosed by a building walls that is open to the sky. I was solo traveler, so i have no complains about stay, but definitely wouldn't be happy if i wasn't solo. it just felt like i was in the basement with no natural light and hard to realize if it was a day or night outside, the weather, etc.. The room was clean, but need good renovation as it feels very cheap and worn out. The bed was okay, but there was no blanket just light sheet, not sure why. I like to sleep in cold room under blanket, so i got very cold at night with AC and had to turn it off. Hotel, stuff was friendly, location is very good and centrally located in historic district. Top floors rooms may be in better shape and feel different, it just i had one not so lucky room.

Neljä yötä SevillassaPosted Aug 2, 2015 on Hotels
Hinta-laatusuhde erittäin hyvä. Tukahduttavassa kuumuudessa oli ilmastointi välttämätön ja se toimikin todella hyvin. Viihtyisä, tilava ja siisti huone. Siivous joka päivä. Hotellin ravintolassa herkullisia tapaksia. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta.

Great Central HotelPosted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Its location, the wonderful central courtyard area that was both attractive and a comfortable place to sit and relax.
Cons: The breakfast didn't look very enticing so we went to a cafe locally
Location: Cathedral, Alcazar and all the main sights of Seville are within easy walking distance of the hotel.
We booked Las Casas de Los Mercaderes based on reviews we'd seen on various websites and for its convenience and location - 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and Alcazar. It exceeded our expectations in terms of the rooms (large and comfortable with all the facilities we needed) the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and its look and feel. The central, covered in, courtyard gives the hotel great character and arriving from cold, grey England the contrast with its light and exotic look and feel couldn't have been more welcome!
