Dear guests, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. The Hotel Murillo is located on a pedestrian street so the closest point to arrive with car is Plaza de Santa Cruz, couple of minutes walk from the hotel. It will be a pleasure to welcome you back in the future. Best regards, Irene Rodrigo Guest Service

Great convenient location.

Posted Apr 7, 2017
Pros: The breakfast was a delight. Except for a lengthy and disorganized check-in, the remaining staff interactions were friendly and helpful. Good value.
Cons: More efficient checking in and cooler room.
Location: Very, very convenient location in charming Santa Cruz. Sevilla is a very walkable city.
Room was clean and neat but it was stuffy and warm and air conditioning was not available.

Dear Jo, First than all, I would like to thank you for the time to share your experience with us. I am glad to know that you had enjoyed our complete breakfast. Please take our apoligies for the qeue to check you in, sometimes we cannot know in advance the guests arrival times. We want to make sure everyone has the full information about directions, monuments, tours and hotel facilities. Regarding the air conditioning, it is working warm in winter and cold in summer. Spring time in Seville it can be still very cold sometimes and even rainning, that is the reason whay it was still not activated the air conditioning. Sorry for the inconveniences you might had. Wonderful, but...

Posted Mar 29, 2017
Pros: Perfect location. Within walking distance of practically everything Seville has to offer. Charming boutique hotel in a "kissing" alley.
Cons: My one complaint, and it definitely affected the enjoyment of my stay, was the strong smell of perfume in the lobby and in the hotel rooms.
Location: The royal palace. There were many restaurants and a great flamenco dancing performance.
We were visiting our son in Granada and went on a side excursion to Seville.

OK hotel but could have been cleaner

Posted Mar 14, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness of room, speed of check in.
Location: Very central location in the Barrio Santa Cruz.
Excellent location but checking in took about 20 minutes with the staff seeming very disorganised. The room wasn't overly clean and the beds / pillows were uncomfortable.

Dear Jude, Thank you very much for the time to share your experience with us. We like to take our time to check our guests in giving directions on the map, recommendations about how to get tickets for the monuments or better place to have dinner, also to explain our services like where breakfast is served or how to get to the rooftop and enjoy the amazing views. I am really sorry that you found it a bit slow. I am glad that you enjoy the good location and I hope to see you soon in the future. Best regards, Irene Rodrigo Guest Service

Location is fantastic - right in the middle of the most atmospheric part of Seville. The major sites are within walking distance. Facilities are good, overall good value for money.

Good value hotel in heart of old city

Posted Feb 14, 2017
Pros: Excellent location, pleasant staff and good value.
Cons: Condition of bathroom
Location: Hotel is in the old Jewish quarter. Cathedral and Alcazar are among the world's great buildings in a city to discover on foot. Friendly tapas bars.
Located amid a maze of narrow atmospheric streets in the historic core of Seville (and therefore quite hard to find), this hotel is very close to the major sites. My room 318 had a picturesque view over a junction of streets and a restaurant. This could cause noise issues in summer but not in a wet February. The room was rather small but acceptable. TV only had Spanish channels. The ground floor and breakfast room have remarkable carved ceilings. Breakfast was standard continental buffet plus scrambled eggs and mushrooms. Bathroom looked tired and stain marks on the shower unit. Staff were friendly and helpful.

In old quarter, easy walk to sights

Posted Feb 1, 2017
Pros: In historic district
Cons: Shower tiny, would not be suitable for a " larger" person. Needs an upgrade.
Location: It's Seville Santa Cruz district, tiny narrow streets with bags of character. Alcazar and cathedral easily reached as are shopping areas.
Hotel staff very good! Room small and dark, shower poky and needed updating. Situated in historic district and position relative to Alcazar, Cathedral etc excellent.lots of restaurants and bars close by. Car park secure but 22 euros a day and some way from the hotel. Buffet average. Overall just about merited it's 2 star rating. But Seville is up there with the best.

Nice hotel close to all the sites

Posted Jan 7, 2017
Pros: The staff were very nice and helpful ,especially Jaime who confirmed our next day tours. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: The only complaint we have is the shower would go to very cold then hot for a few seconds. By the end of our stay we had it timed when to step back.
Hotel is centrally located in the old jewish quarter of Seville. A five minute walk from hotel to the cathedral, royal alcazar, plaza de espania, pretty parks, and triana neighborhood. You can take the EA bus from airport to ave de carlos then a ten minute walk to hotel. The hustle and bustle at Christmas time was a few steps away from the very quiet location of the hotel. The breakfast area and lobby have beautiful old world wooden ceilings and suits of armor in the lobby with the view of the cathedral from the hotel terrace especially at night so beautiful. Plenty of tapas bars and restaurants from which to choose within a five minute walk from the hotel.

Excellent location in the center of Seville

Posted Jan 4, 2017
Pros: The location was perfect.
Cons: Get new mattresses in the rooms.
Location: Near 2 cathedrals, the city center, parks and restaurants. There is a small grocery nearby as well.
The hotel lobby and common rooms are charming, reflecting the history of Seville. The bathroom was great with lots of hot water. The bed and furnishings, however, were a bit shabby. In spite of this, we slept well.

A Park & Walk-To Hotel in the Heart of Old Sevilla

Posted Dec 26, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel was very difficult to find. Once we found it, with the help of a local taxi driver, the location was actually very, very good. There are other Murillo named hotels, so careful about getting them confused. Pay close attention to the address. If you are arriving by car, park at the Cano y Cueta garage. Then walk. At the hotel, we found the staff to be very accommodating and helpful.
