"A rocky start, but an absolutely wonderful recovery! Hôtel des Muses has a fantastic location directly across from beautiful Lake Annecy, in a peaceful area just a short walk from charming shops and restaurants. The secure gated parking is another excellent advantage. Our stay began with some disappointment: the annex room was dated, did not offer the promised partial lake view, and had maintenance issues, including nonfunctioning AC and plumbing problems. It was not what we expected from a superior room. Since we were staying for 2 more nights, after enjoying the nice breakfast buffet, we visited the front desk: the hotel team responded with genuine care and professionalism. Two wonderful staff members listened to our concerns and arranged an upgrade to a beautifully renovated room with a partial lake view and a lovely outdoor space, it completely transformed our experience. Although the hotel could benefit from minor improvements to outdoor maintenance, basic amenities, and older rooms, we truly enjoyed the remainder of our stay. We are especially grateful to the team for listening, taking action, and helping us enjoy our time in Annecy. Thank you for turning a disappointing beginning into a memorable and enjoyable stay. With a little more attention to detail, Hôtel des Muses could be truly exceptional!"

"Résidence calme, logement propre, bien équipé (lave-vaisselle, lave linge, fer à repasser). Clim dans la pièce à vivre, ventilateur dans les chambres. Il ne reste plus qu’à discuter la clim dans les chambres avec la copropriété. En plus Stéphanie de l’agence est très sympa. Dans le descriptif vous pouvez ajouter: borne de recharge 150 et 300 chez Carrefour Annecy. C’est parfait. Logement que je conseillerais. Superbe séjour."

"This is a charming property up in the hills but close to the lake. The view is amazing and could sit all day on the deck. regarding the house itself, we found the layout to be quite eclectic and a bit run down. While the many stairs leading up to the entrance were not an issue for us as we were prepared for the climb, the interior configuration presented some challenges. Specifically, the stairs leading to the upper bedrooms are very steep and proved difficult to navigate at night, particularly since the bathroom is located on the lower level.We found the kitchen to be best suited for basic meal preparation or takeaway dining. Very little provided for the price of this property and we noticed few areas that had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. The current setup may not be ideal for guests looking to do higher-end cooking.Overall a great stay and beautiful area."
