Quiet relaxation by the seaPosted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: It is not too big and it's not stuffy. It is friendly and nice with good range of services and facilities. upstairs Gravity bar is lovely.
Cons: The toiletries in the bathroom are disappointing compared to quality of everything else.
Location: 10 mins on the local bus takes you north to Port Laune with its stunning beach. The bus is 5 rupees (25p) and it's a flat fee.
Very nice hotel with pleasant and friendly staff. Lovely reception and restaurant areas. Large breakfast buffet selection was excellent value. Ocean view room was very nice with lovely balcony with great pool/sea view. Very comfortable loungers around the pool. Great cocktails at Happy Hour made with local rum or vodka. Bus stop just at gates take you to Victoria or north or south to west coast villages and beaches. Handy supermarket and take away store less than 5 mins walk. Nice mix of guests, young couples, older couples and families.

The overall ambiance is very relaxed, the hotel re-opened in March 2015. Everything is always open between the entrance and the beach because there is always someone working so this is nice. The beach is very beautiful and having breakfast or dinner by the beach is amazing. The pool is nice and it's possible to bathe in the sea but only with a low tide. Check the tides there, every beach is always better at low or mid tide.

Absolute great stay. Very hospitable staff, nice and pleasant environment.Pictures don't do justice. Very clean and comfortable room. Calm and relaxing experience. My luggage got delayed because of problem with the airline but the hotel staff went extra mile to make sure my stay remains as pleasant as possible. Would recommend to people.

Enjoyable Stay with a few Unpleasant ExperiencesPosted Apr 11, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel and its amenities are great in general. The Free WLAN only works at the lobby and does not work in hotel rooms. Even if you sit in the lobby, it is not possible to get a VPN connection. Upon complaining about it, the hotel proposes a paid fast WLAN that is quite expensive! Most rooms at the hotel have a bathroom that is open to the room. We got the only room that has a collapsible screen. Our booking was for a triple occupancy room. Though the hotel offered us an additional bed, we did not take it as the King Size Bed was large enough for the 3 of us. However, upon requesting the hotel for an additional set of pillows, they did not provide us the same! Also, on the day of our departure, as we were supposed to leave for the airport at 6:00AM, we had requested for our breakfast to be served at our room at 05:30AM. However, after a lot of follow up, it was only served at our room at 05:50AM. In general, the Seychelles is an extremely expensive place!

New hotel with great peoplePosted Mar 20, 2015 on Hotels
Newly reopened hotel on a great secluded beach. They definitely have a few more small details to figure out but they make up for that in hospitality and easy going style. The manager their took care of us and made sure our stay was going well. Our last day we missed our flight and the manager gave us our room back to use until we left later that night at 8pm. Great customer service!!! The pool is of an older style but tons of fun. Multiple couples were hanging out in it constantly. The temp was perfect for swimming. The beach is nice and there is good snorkeling off the beach. The beach itself has plenty to look at in the way of shells. We found some spectacular souvenirs.
