Very dated property. It is marketed on Expedia as a 5 star resort but it’s not. There is access to beach but beach is not good enough and there are no sun beds. There is no air conditioning in common areas. Even the ceiling fans in the restaurant do not function. This made the breakfast time experience really painful (Seychelles is very hot and humid). Staff is friendly and helpful.

Hotel is at ideal location with beautiful view. The reception staff was welcoming and helpful, but the dining staff was very rude. I had lunch at La Cocoloba bar and the staff was very rude and unprofessional. Don't recommend this to anyone

Great resort at the west end of Beau Vallon beach
Nice resort at the far end of Beau Vallon beach. Good facilities including a gym, nice pool and very nice buffet breakfast. Restaurants were nice but expensive. Beau Vallon beach is great and has good swimming, snorkelling, bars and restaurants.

Paradise….no kidding!
The most beautiful island ever! The hotel was perfectly positioned on the most beautiful beach on the island. Lots of dining possibilities close by. Breakfast buffet was exceptional! Lynn the operations manager was so friendly, so professional. Always a good morning to greet us every day. Cannot say enough good things about this resort. Would go back tomorrow if I could. Will really miss the hotel and the people. For taxi service call Andre. Lives right across the street! Great rates, great service!

The property was beautiful and beyond expectations. From the first entry the service was excellent. The room was gorgeous, large spacious and private. Our private deck with ocean view room just steps away from the ocean was perfect. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied every morning. However, as great as the facility was, it was nothing compared to the attentiveness of all the staff. Thanks to Sharifa, Pascal, Dominic, Sharin, Rita, Sandy, Quincy and all the staff. Their attentive, gracious and pleasant attitude has us planning our return. Will definitely visit again and we have aldready recommended the Fisherman's Cove to all our friends and family.

Property is ok. But not up to the mark for resort. No extra facility other than swimming pool and Restaurent. Staff was not proactive and helpful. Snorkeling equipment was to be provided by hotel but we did not get even once during whole stay. No smile or welcoming note on staff face. Last day even no staff was there to help in getting our luggage from room or load in car. I think management is more focusing on their other property story resort.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Not a 5 star hotel and did not have a gym (can use their sister hotel nearby) but the location and good customer service makes it a nice place to stay.

Fisherman's Cove was beautiful! The entrance is stunning and then rest of the areas and views are great, as well. Staff was so very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, they changed the bed sheets and towels every day without asking - this leads to a waste of water and electricity; for a resort that tries to be environmentally friendly they should have given the option. I was very impressed by my stay here!

After the damages made by storm nothing has been done. The pool was ready to use but kept closed. Next door beach provided was difficult to reach and the fence in between was stupidly closed. Nobody tried to improve the schatle schedule to allow the customers to use the neibghouring facillities ito compensate the proper damaged facilities.

Due to damages in November there was no pool and no access to the sea, which means there was no place to swim or relax on a sun bed with an umbrella unless going to the next hotel down, having to walk on a busy road in the sun for several minutes. Also the amenities like water sports equipment became pointless. To “compensate” for complete lack of amenities that one would expect from a hotel on the sea in the Seychelles, they offered three free shuttle busses to other locations on the island - the beach being 1:10 hours away. That’s no compensation in my view as no one relaxes by being hauled on a bus. No mention of discounts for the trouble or of free cancellation when they sent the mail to warn about these issues. I feel duped, having spent a lot of money to stay in an otherwise very nice hotel resort.

Very bad 5 star hotel. It does not even have a minibar. The bathroom is part of the room without separation and all the sounds from the toilet can be heard. The shower does not have a curtain so that the whole bathroom area gets wet.

What a delightful property. The staff is wonderful, and goes out of their way to provide great service. We have a junior suite, which is quite lovely, with a beautiful ocean view. It was lovely to wake up looking out the lanai door looking at the beautiful landscaping and small waves.

Everything was great but the spa was a a big disappointment. No design, no luxury, just a dark room full of stuff. You can can get a great massage in Sulawesi for 20$ in some basement but that was a basement feeling for 150$. Not worth a penny. The spa is an experience, the beauty, the tranquility, the relaxation. Not get into a dark room fast and be done with it. It is like a dirty one-hour-stand. Le Meridien should do better than that. Very disappointing.

Place is great. Some few things need tweaking
We stayed in the Deleuxe Ocean view room. The room overlooked the pool and the ocean. That was the best part. We didn't want to leave the room at all! The Pool and property was well kept. The food wasn't bad but could be much better. The snorkeling guided tour was very bad. An amateur discouraging millennial was just there but doing nothing to help us. That could really better.

If you book this property thinking it's a 5 star hotel, you will be expecting a higher level of service than what you will end up getting. On the bright side, the property has amazing decoration and our room furniture was on the luxurious end. The property is on the corner of Beau Vallon beach, which is a very nice beach in Mahe. On the not so great side, I found this property lacking cleaning. Bathroom was full of limescale and I could see that daily cleaning didn't even try to dust surfaces. There are also some maintenance issues, like missing tiles in the swimming pool. Facilities are not sized properly and we could not get space near the swimming pool (or further away) that was under some kind of shade as there were not enough umbrellas. Be prepared to pay extortionate prices for everything - after all, you are in a 5 star hotel - without many alternatives available. If you are looking at Google Maps thinking that you might have a nice night stroll nearby, your only way out is the beach or the pavement with no sidewalks at all! Finally, beware of the charges made by the hotel. We found a discrepancy in the prices set in the menu at Cocolaba Bar and what we were charged. We also paid a deposit at the beginning to the property so we could charge our room and we had to wait for more than 3 weeks to get it back - despite our e-mails asking for it back. Overall, it's not a terrible hotel but you would get much better value booking in any of the other hotels nearby.

This was just wonderful holiday from the beginning once we reach the hotel and meet the staff at reception specially JUDITH she is simply amazing the way she break bad news and the options that she gave to us to make us happy me and my wife appreciate her for everything did to us ... the room was nice beach front with beach access... the food was amazing the location is just perfect ... it’s a great experience for our first time visit to Seychelles and for sure if we will come again we will stay at fisherman’s cove

This is not a 5 star property
We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our Seychelles holiday and wish we hadn’t. This is barely a 3 star hotel, it’s terribly dated. Upon arriving at our room, there was a female sanitary product outside the door, not a good first impression. The bathroom is in the bedroom, separated by a strange curtain. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The room was close to the road so was noisy and there didn’t seem to be a big security presence like other hotels, so we really didn’t feel that safe. The last night we wanted to try the French restaurant but it was closed for a private function (no pre-warning) so we went next door to The H Hotel and what a totally different experience that was, not only their food fantastic but the customer service was consistently outstanding by all the staff unlike the hit and miss staff at Le Meridien. There was a lot of single use plastic items e.g. bottles, straws still being used that I noticed had already been eliminated at other properties. I usually don’t write bad reviews but feel that this property warrants it.

We had a most enjoyable stay at LeMeredian at Fishermans Cove, the staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was excellent also had two meals at the French restuarant and ate in the e Bar quite a bit where the food and service was great. We were given the last room on the bottom floor which did have an ocean view also garden as we did not see in any other room of the same status we could not compare this. Seeing we had the room booked for over 6 months I thought we could have been placed better. The floor was a tiled floor and was not mopped out every day. Beau Vallon Beach is very beautiful.

Beautiful resort with wonderful staff
This was part of our honeymoon stay in the Seychelles and we loved Le Meridien! The staff were so kind and friendly, never without a smile. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. We aren’t big fans of pools, especially when a gorgeous ocean is in front of us - but the pool here was so nice and flowed beautifully into the background of the Indian Ocean that we used it quite often. The food was great, breakfast options at Le Cardinal were plentiful, lunch and appetizers at Cocoloba were also good (a little expensive for lunch, though) and we dined at the Paris restaurant and enjoyed our meals and service there as well. The cocktails are always great and they have a happy hour everyday from 6-7:30 PM. The area in front of Le Meridien isn’t good for swimming but is great for snorkeling. Swimming options are only a 5 minute walk down the beach, though, still in the hotels view. The hotel also offers free snorkeling equipment, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. Needless to say we were very pleased we chose the Le Meridien for our last 3 days of our honeymoon!

Closeness to the beach makes it an OK hotel
The hotel rooms are not as great as you see in the pictures. Plus there is little to do in the hotel. The food was nice but lack of variety makes it boring after a few days.

It’s a nice hotel and good experience overall.
The hotel is nice and right on the beach. The view from our balcony is magnificent. It’s sbout 15 minutes drive to Eden Island where all the restaurants and highend shops are. It’s a small hotel but very quite. The hotel is on the beach but the beach is not usable during the hightie The beach chairs are not allowed on the beach. The pool is very small, mainly for families with small children. The breakfast is decent and the French restaurant offer good food but not the snack bar nor the dinner buffet. This is our second time visiting Seychelles and we have stayed in Hilton before so we have some comparisons when comes to food. It would be nice to have a restaurant that serving Asian food. We ate at the hotel next to us for two nights just to have some variety. But the hotel staff is very nice, professional and helpful. Overall the experience is positive and will recommend.
