I travelled solo to the Seychelles and stayed at the Villas de Jardins. Pemma was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and helped to arrange transport for me if needed, around the island. She also purchased cupcakes and chocolate for all of the guests in celebration of Christmas day, which was very sweet! I will say that having a car is Definetly needed to get to the beach, which is 5 minutes away, or any other areas. I loved the villa and the property surrounding it and I look forward to staying here again when I return in a few months. I highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting the Seychelles.

Absolutely stunning place to stay if you're looking for a naturally beautiful place to relax, unwind and enjoy some stunning vistas. The 3 weeks spent there will never be forgotten! thank you to all the staff who were amazingly friendly, helpful and for inviting us to share an evening with you for the Kreol festival which was fantastic (amazing food, drink, entertainment and company!). A tip for diners, Del Place is fantastic nearby and you can also eat in any of the restaurants at Constance Ophelia as a non staying guest. I could not possibly recommend the place any higher!

The million dollar view can be seen at every room in the villa. There are outdoor and indoor showers depending on your likely. Two separate washrooms are very good in size - I take one and my husband takes another one. I wish the owner can install air conditioning in the living room. During the day, even with all doors open, the room is still too hot to be useable. As soon as we get back to the villa, my husband and I will go separate way to our own wrong as there are they only places in the villa that have air conditioning. Please consider.

As life in Seychelles takes place mostly outside, there is a reason we do not have air-conditioning in the kitchen-living room area and there are at least the air-fans available. Apartment was really nice and big, with a great view. One of the best rooms I have been into. Really friendly and helpful staff. Location is pretty far from everything, even restaurants and beaches are at least a good walk, so car is useful (driving in Mahe is not very pleasant..).

Stunning!
Spectacular accommodation with stunning rooms and the view from the swimming pool and the balcony is worth the money alone. Very good value for money and I doubt you would find better accommodation for a cheaper price on Mahe. Ulrike is a very welcoming and helpful host and provided me with invaluable information via email before our visit to the Island. Villas de Jardin is Close to the Port Launay beach, a supermarket and Del Place restaurant which you have to visit! There are several stairs to reach your villa so bear this in mind if you have heavy bags or your fitness isnt great!

Spacious house with a fantastic view
This is a great place to stay when you explore Mahé. Very helpful staff and friendly atmosphere, spacious, nice veranda, and a wonderful view. Good and clean pool. Wifi in the house, but a bit on the slow side. Booking said 3 double beds, but it was actually 2 double beds and 2 extra single beds. The extra beds lagged the comfort of the double beds. Kitchen could be better equipped, but everything worked, and there is a strong commitment to make it work for you. You will need a car to explore the nice beaches, trails, and shops.

Brilliant, great facilities, magnificent views
Idyllic location and great accommodation in private surroundings with access to local shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very pleasant and helpful staff. We stayed in one of the villas at the top of the hill which was quite a climb but well worth for the views and the extra privacy which it gives.

The villa is very spacious and has a fantastic view over the bay and the ocean. The staff is very friendly and made our stay welcome. There is an infinity pool overlooking the bay.

What a wonderful start for a honeymoon
We've stayed at Villas De Jardin for the first week of our honeymoon and that was a wonderful start for our honeymoon. the Villas are great and with wonderful view, the stuff is extra friendly and are willing to do much more than they should (on this occasion I want to thank the gardener for bringing fresh exotic fruits to our doorstep free of charge after my wife mentioned she never tried them!) and of course the wonderful owner who was super friendly and helpful with every question we had. I should notice that the Villas are located on a steep hill so unless you want to do sport every time you go to or from the villa you need a car. P.S. don't forget to try the pool especially on sunrise and sunset.

Villas de Jardin oasis
Great experience with spacious villas. For an ideal quiet getaway as compared to say Bau Vallon on the north west side of Mahe which is getting busier with more resorts going up and more traffic. The resort manager Ilreka is great and assisted us in every way. The resort is located in Port Glaud is on the west side of Mahe (approx. 40mins drive to Victoria) so you will require a car for touring, restaurants and getting provisions.

Beautiful place to unwind!
My husband and I just returned from a wonderful stay at Villas de Jardin. Ulriche, the property manager was wonderful. She was extremely hospitable and helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit on the island.We enjoyed many sunrises, sunsets and meals from our villa patio which provided gorgeous views of the ocean. Everyday we returned to a very cleaned villa and flowers pleasantly placed on the bed. The villas on the property are very well placed in a way that allowed for privacy from other guests. Villas de jardin is self-catering so sometimes we prepared our own meals - the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. If you're looking for busy nightlife, this isn't the place for you. It's great if you want to disconnect from the world and unwind. One thing worth mentioning, the property is on a very steep hill. The first time up in our rental car was challenging but became less so after the first or second day.

Lovely villas
We stayed here for just three nights before joining a cruise. The villa was extremely good. Clean spacious and well equipped. Very helpful staff. Beautiful views. We had hired a jeep to explore the island which is a must as there is only one mediocre restaurant nearby! Our stay here was very pleasant and we were always on our own in the pool which was great. A word of warning...there are LOTS of steps up to the villas and its HOT!! If you're not fit to climb then these villas are not for you. Otherwise, go for it!!

Very nice villa. Beautiful view from bedroom, bathroom, balcony and kitchen. Clean, spacious, nice bathroom and bedroom, well decorated, lot of fruits in the garden, helpful staff. Only negative thing I would say is the road to the villa is very steep. Eden take away is very good and Local store has most things you will need.

Excellent. Very clean and safe. Huge villa. Beautiful view from large balcony. Management very friendly and welcoming. Helped booked rental car for us and set the room up beautifully with flowers and champagne for our honeymoon. Defitinely recommend as a economic option for a calming get away. Town is far away from action on island, so don't go if looking for nightlife. But if you want a quiet retreat for you and your spouse, it is great.

Lovely villas of great design, away from it all
The villa: everything very high quality! Stunning view, large veranda, nice backgarden with outside shower, very helpful management (Ulrike), apt. always beautifully cleaned, towels with flowers every day, even dishwashing. Pool however tend to be occupied by child families for long hours into the night, not always "resilient" to grown-ups who want to have a dip as well. If one does not want to ask.. Our "helper" when trying to find a restaurant and a decent beach in the area, was the Ephelia Resort, 5 min from the villas, one of the best complexes on the island (we visited most of them, to compare). We stayed a lot there, and gave them absolutely some business as well, using their spa and restaurants. To have any excercise their aircon Spa was the only possible way (except swimming), all too hot! If you dont like to cook everyday, there is not many other opitions for eating out, except for a local restaurant not quite up to it, around the corner, which we tried once. What we did not realize before we came, was that the Seychelles are extremely hot (humidity) and we northerners do nok like the sea to be quite so warm!

Excellent for beaches
For the first time traveller to Seychelles its pretty unique destination - it lacks (almost completely) tourist infrastructure of Europe or Turkey but provides perfect nature and beaches - probably best in the world Villas De Jardin is excellent place to stay if you accept the above - i.e. if you arrived there to drive scenic (albeit very narrow and left sided roads) between excellent beaches and not ask questions - where is the restaurant or beach shower or coconut seller or good food in local shops whatever else Its simply not there and shall not be expected Again - facility is excellent - new, perfectly furnished and with great service from staff. Location is good for west coast beaches (30-40 mins drive max) and a bit less than perfect if you consider that self-catering means that you must solve logistics of daily food supply - especially if you have kids, and if for whatever reason, spending 75 eur per person for nice buffet dinner at the neighboring hotel is not an daily option. Choice of food at local shops is pretty limited and may be alarming for the first 2-3 days, then it settles, with experience Thats the only drawback I could imagine, but its not the fault of hotel itself, its more a Seychelles-kind of vacation. You go there for nature and ocean and Villas de Jardin provides excellent access to that. So you must pay the price for certain self-catering inconveniences - restaurants are pretty few and far between (and expensive), shops are more wide-spread but food selection may be scary at first, hotels are very expensive Seemingly I am repeating myself - so the conclusion is as follows - its excellent but remote place (drive to Victoria/market/night life in beau vallon is 30-50 mins by mountaneous and very narrow left sided roads) and you must consider your catering options carefully in order to avoid some disappointments As for the hotel itself - its perfect, no doubt. We stayed for 10 days with 2 kids (5 and 11) and enjoyed each day of the vacation. Subject you rent a car, everything is accessible and from second day I enjoyed roads as well Many thanks to Ulrika, the hotel manager, her assistance is absolutely amazing And yes, wi-fi is there, but VERY slow and interruptive, so dont expect to download movies. For email and some light browsing its OK, though.

Villas De Jardin
My husband and I went to teh Seychelles to celebrate our wedding anniversary and his big bday. We could not have been happier with our stay and the beautiful view and accomodations. We loved the design of the circular pool built into a boulder on the cliffside. We'd like to know the architect,s name! Ulrike and her family were extremely warm and welcoming. We appreciated the champagne and wasa delightful surprise. The only suggestion we would have is to get a phone installed so family can contact guests, TV and better wireless reception. A free pick-up and transfer from the airport and to the airport and/or jetty would be great. All in all, it was a memorable stay!

8 nuits à villa de jardin sur Mahé
Les plus : Vue sur l’océan époustouflante, très bel hébergement , piscine à débordement très agréable. Les moins : Qualité du Ménage quotidien très moyenne.Vous décidez une grasse matinée, pas de ménage : A partir de 11 heures, c’est terminé. Aucun service le dimanche non plus. Dommage pour une location à un tel prix . Les nuits ne sont pas calmes : les chiens en contrebas des locations font des vocalises du coucher au lever du soleil. Cet hébergement sur Mahé, contrairement à nos deux autres hébergements sur Praslin et la digue, ne nous laisse pas un souvenir impérissable, autant sur le plan logistique qu’humain.

Struttura sostanzialmente nuova in zona tranquillissima a due passi da uno dei migliori ristoranti dell’isola e a pochi minuti di auto dalle spiagge. Abbiamo apprezzato gli ampi spazi privati interni ed esterni, la vista a 180 gradi sull’oceano, la cura del verde della struttura e la splendida piscina a sfioro.

This is truly a fantastic hotel if do not mind living away from the beach. The large bungalows have tasteful interiors and stunning views from the balcony. The infinity pool is amazing. To this add a very welcoming attitude from the couple that runs the hotel. The only little hitch - I am sorry to say - is the Internet which was really not good when we were there. But apart from that a clear 10

Spektakuläre Aussicht auf die Bucht von Port Glaud
Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer von der Managerin Ulrike mit Engagement geführten Anlage in fantastischer Lage. Die Größe des Bungalows und die Ausstattung haben uns begeistert, der Ausblick aus allen Räumen und von der großen Terrasse über die Bucht ist ... einfach einzigartig! Die Gartenanlage nebst Pool ist ebenfalls ein Traum. Die Gespräche mit und Informationen von Ulrike waren für uns sehr interessant. - Wir werden wiederkommen!

Ideal für Erhohlungssuchende
Sehr schöne und geräumige Wohnung mit Traumblick auf das Meer. Liegt etwas abgelegen, Victoria und die Strände im Süden sind in ca. 30-45 min zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können Villas de jardin sehr empfehlen.

Très bonne situation pour ces villas ; surtout celle que nous avions, la N°3, confort et état parfaits Très bon accueil de Ulriche Une voiture est obligatoire dans ce secteur (Port Glaud) Par contre, en raison de la proximité de la montagne, assez de nuages, quand il y a ciel bleu dans les autres secteurs de Mahé

Très jolie villa et accueil charmant, chambre très propre, ménage et changement de linge quotidiens ( avec petites fleurs en bonus ) super séjour A noter qu'il n'y a pas grand chose dans les environs Nos astuces bonnes adresses à proximité : Sekkar supermarket à 2 mn sur la gauche / Del Place Restaurant ( excellent !! ) à 3 mn sur la droite et aussi un takeaway à 10 mn sur la gauche NB les temps de trajets sont donnés en voiture ( indispensable si vous voulez visiter Mahé ) Petit point négatif de Villas de Jardin, la douche ( froide ) de la réception, pratique pour se rafraîchir avant de reprendre l'avion mais pas très propre ni confortable Si votre budget vous le permet, préférez la petite villa qui se loue 75 euros pour la journée

Great stay and really great service by Ulrike (the german girl). She fixed everything! Would recomend this place bigtime. Big villas and view was lovely. We didn't have a rental car so we walked all those stairs many times. If you dont like exercise so you need a car. Took the bus and it worked great. Wir haben unsere Hochzeitsreise in einer der Villas verbracht. Die deutschsprachige Managerin war sehr bemüht und nett, die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, einzig die Beleuchtung ist sehr spärlich, sodass man am Abend schon mal die Taschenlampe braucht um etwas im Kasten zu finden. Von der Terasse aus hat man eine wunderbare Aussicht über die Bucht. Alles in Allem durchaus empfehlenswert
