Sink in the room was very slow to drain and we had ants all over the room. Other than that it was a great breakfast, pool was nice and it was very quiet ever when there was 20 kids in the pool, the attached bar has 2 for 1 all day everyday and the staff was so friendly and would go out of their way to ask how your day was going

The hotel rooms were standard rooms. They had a mini fridge and microwave. The shower did not get hot but it was decebtly warm. The hot tub was large and hot! The pool area is nice and that is where breakfast is. It was nice to have breakfast in yhe pool area because it felt less crowded. The breakfast was hot and good.

We were awakened several times after midnight with people coming back from the Bar. VERY LOUD in the hallway. ANNOYING! There should be a security guard of some sort watching that end of the hotel and making sure people are respectful of the late hour.

Went to use the hot tube on Sunday morning , water was cold. Management failed to inform guests about it, not till I went to front dest and was informed they had sent out maintenance to get it fixed.

No hot water in room, asked to move to different room. Second room dirty/ towel struck in ceiling fan growing mold. Pool area cold and one hot tub broken. We were supposed to stay two nights and left after the first one.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was amazing. We really loved the spacious pool area. The Muddy Cow next door was so convenient, and the food was excellent! The only thing that we were a little disappointed with was the pool was freezing. But we will definitely be staying there again!

I had a problem with my first room, my key card would not work after I had gone outside. And was locked out of my room for 2 hours, then got my room upgraded to a suite at a discount. Which showed the hotel was very sorry for all Inconvenience.

Disappointed in Shakopee MN
When we checked in we noticed the room was way in the back upper floor, after we requested one of the upgraded rooms. We unpacked and the room seems nice. The room was beat up and had scratches all over but that was fine. Then after we unpacked and got relaxed, my wife opened the curtains to find the water "flowing": on to the window ledge and onto the carpeted floor and into the room below, as it was raining hard outside. We don't use the window or that area, so we just closed the curtain and advised the front desk. They were full this weekend, but offered to move us some how . We stayed so that was on us. The next morning we showered and there was NO Hot Water. Let is run 10 minutes and it became luke warm, so we thought lots of people must have used the hot water that morning. But the next day we got up early and tried to shower and had NO warm water either. The front desk and staff was VERY nice and professional, but the facilitiy was very bad. We will not be staying there any more.

Heavily soiled sheets in 1st room. Photos dont do it justice! We were moved to a 2nd room, shower there still had shampoo bottles and soap in shower and cigarette cartons in the trash from last guests. TV couldn't "locate channels", had to have front desk staff come down to restart/update tv. Showed her issues in 2nd room, she was sympathetic but didnt offer to remove them or take them out with her. Knowing the shower hadnt been cleaned, we chose not to shower there. At checkout, staff asked "How was your stay", I was honest and said, "Not real great!". This person listened to the problems but didnt really seem to care and didnt offer to "make it better". Simply said, "Ok, well, have a good day!" We have stayed here at least twice before with no issues, this time was much different, lacked cleanliness and poor customer service. Unfortunately, we will not return here again.

I thought breakfast was going to be like any other but the gentleman serving the hot food was attentive for restocking anything and actually went around tables asking how it was tasting. I’m sure it wasn’t his job but i liked how he took the time to do so. The area inside was all clean and employees were very nice and made check in and check out very easy.

Beds are uncomfortable. Wi-Fi is terrible. Breakfast is mid. Place is getting run down and needs updating. With a little work, it could be a nice place.

The room smelled like mild dew. Everything was damp including the bedding. That room should not have been let out. The pool area was kind of gross - the ceiling was filthy and the hottub was a bit dirty.

I didn't like the layout of this hotel....no convenient parking to our room. 2 hot tubs ( one out of order) and the jets in the other barely worked. Terrible lighting in the bathroom. I won't stay here again.

Hotel was decent but a gew problems encountered. There were dirty washcloths in the bathroom when we checked in. Then the annoying key cards. Two days in a row they wouldn't work when we returned to the hotel. Had to go down to front desk to have them reprogrammed multiple times two days in a row. Not even an apology for the inconvenience. Loose tiles in the ceiling above the pool. Only a matter of time before a kid gets knocked in the head by one in the pool. Decent breakfast. Pool is very shallow at only 3.6 feet so definitely not adult friendly. Hot tub was lukewarm and only 2.6 feet deep. Wouldn't stay there again for the price they charge.

Room smelled so bad of mold and mildew, it was hard to sleep because of it. Woke up with nose plugged, soar throat, etc. took most of the day to be able to breath again correctl and this was not a pool side room. No extra blankets or pillows available for hideabed. Front desk gave me a fitted sheet for my son to cover up with and I grabbed the lobby throw couch pillows for him to use. Front desk asked what they could do about it because it’s a frequent problem she said…. Maybe they could buy more pillows and blankets!

Stayed on the 1st floor. 1st room we checked into smelled like cat urine and mildew and was by no means a pool view room (161). We were move to 115 which had much better access and view of the pool (probably the best). However, this new room also had a strong smell of what I can only describe as mildew and Fritos after the 1st night. Possibly the AC? Only one hot tub worked and the other was down for a bit while we were there. Aside from that, the staff and breakfast was amazing. The property could be great but needs some maintenance and overall TLC which I imagine is ownership related and not due to the staff’s efforts. I sincerely wanted to give a better rating but I cannot say it was worth almost $700 for a 3 night stay.

Housekeeping could improve ratings for this hotel.
We liked the location of the hotel as we came to go to the fair. Checking in was great. They did a great job keeping our rooms together. Customer service was great at the desk and the breakfast area the guy was very kind, but housekeeping doesn’t come clean your room unless you stay longer than 2 days. If they could at least exchange the towels that would be great but we had to call the front desk for some and had to wait until after 5 to go get a couple of them as they dont have many available. Beds were a bit firm for us and our room had ants possibly from being pool side.

Check in process was very slow due to hand writing my name, address, email, and car info on paper. Our first room had food all over the floor and had not been vacuumed or swept. Staff was very accommodating and moved us to a different room. The room looked clean however a cockroach was crawling around on the bathroom floor!!! We took a picture/video and immediately left the room. Again, the staff was nice and asked for the picture to be emailed to them. Hopefully the housekeeping staff will be informed and pest control called!! The entire property is somewhat run down and in need of a deep cleaning. Expedia refunded my room expenses easily and quickly through the chat process on the website.
