Meh! It could have been worse.
This was a one night stay for a quick overnight work trip so the room was sufficient for the price I paid. The shower was not clean and water didn't drain well. The room was basic and didn't look the same as pictures but seemed clean enough. It was supposed to be a non smoking room but I could tell that was not the case. When I entered the room the windows had been left open ( maybe to get rid of cigarette smell? didn't work) and room was freezing. There's no food on premises or room service but a restaurant is about a four minute walk away and theres a small pay coffee machine in the lobby. Overall, not the best experience but it it could have better as the only responses I could get from front desk staff was mostly nodding even when trying a translation app.

It's a small hotel with great price, not too far from Honhqiao train station and Airport, but some distance walk to the subway station, simple but clean, if you travel light, ita not a bad choice.

Good place to stay.
Good place to stay on a budget. Nothing fancy, but the staff are friendly and the room is clean. Close to Honggqiao Airport and Railway station. I try to stay here when I'm going to and from Shanghai.

Decently priced accommodation open to foreigners.
Not much to shout about, given that the price is quite reasonable and it is open to foreigners to book directly and stay in. It is a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride from Hongqiao train station.

Place is near to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport
Place is near to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, also there are a few daily needs shops and groceries stores nearby. Taxi was easily available there, walking distance to Shanghai Zoo.

Nice to stay for short trip
Hotel is just next to Hospital, well you have to walk for about 10min to reach the closest Train, but in front of the hotel always got bus and taxi to ride up. The train station (Line 10) is always on the way to those hotspot area too which is convenient and you do not required to interchange. Staff of this hotel is very nice! They greet us eryday and even the cleaner will ask us whether required to clean up the room. When me and my colleague have faced the problem of our China Mobile, they are willing to help too.

The front desk lady was so rude and unhelpful that I left! Choose to spend the night in the airport instead of being treated that way. DO NOT go there.

Don't follow GPS when trying to get to this place.
GPS places this hotel a few miles away from the actual hotel which is actually across a bridge closer to the entrance of the zoo (to the north). the rooms were roomy for a single bed, shower stall doesn't stop water from flowing to the rest of the bathroom (hence the warning about wet floors on the wall), glass shower enclosure covered with cabinetry (who designed this piece of @#$!?). Balcony is enclosed so don't look for photo opportunities there's Positive are good air con, perfect tv screen size for the room, and big bed. Sorry no alarm clock or personal safe. Overall the rest of the hotel needs a vacuum (badly) and improvements can be made to the rooms if the owner cared to invest in his property. So to cap, hard to find, dirty and staff speaks very minimal English. Heck, they won't even call a taxi for you. So lazy.

If you need to get to the Hongqiao train station early in the morning, it`s the right place. Very quiet at night, but no restaurants or shop open after 10.

GreenTree Hongqiao Railway Station
Take Metro line 10 and get down at shanghai Zoo. Follow the exit for Hami Road. Outside the exit, walk about 50 metres and turn left on to Hami Road. Second bus stop is the hotel landmark. For the money you pay it is good. Downsides: The wooden floor was never mopped and no coffee provided.

Inexpensive, close to Subway.
This hotel was a good price, but it was rundown, the beds were pretty hard and squeaky. Their laundry was broken, which was a big letdown for me. They will hold your luggage for up to three days, which is a bonus for people who want to take quick excursions to the city and pack light.

Old hotel. They try to keep it nice. You get what you pay for it worked well for us for overnight flight only disappointment was only one decent restaraunt. The seafood place was good. No place for breakfast. And a little hard to find. Don't get hosed by cab. Most should be 40 rmb.

Quiet and convenient location
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the nearest subway station, very close to Hongqiao airport. It's right next to Shanghai Zoo, the surrounding area is very safe, quiet and residential. I had a room facing the Zoo, I could hear the birds all the time, but not the noise of traffic. The walls of the room are not so clean, they show the water marks. The air conditioning is kind of dirty. The room has microwave and refrigerator, which is very convenient, I was able to store and eat my breakfast in the room. Nice hotel for the price I paid.

Good budget hotel if catching a plane or train
We only stayed one night because we had to catch an early train the next day. If you are staying here before a flight or train ride then it is a good location. Otherwise there isn't much around except for the zoo. The only downside is that all of the rooms really smell of cigarette smoke. Even the nonsmoking ones! As neither of us smoke this was a huge negative.

I chose this hotel just because it is close to the airport and my flight would take off at 7:00 am. The room space is enough but it was not so clean. My room was near the street and it was noisy at night.

The room is small, but quite clean. I stayed in a non-smoking room. It is better to take a taxi to this hotel from the subway station. It took me more than 15 min walking from the subway station. If you do not carry heavy luggage, walking that far is fine. There is a small restaurant nearby serving 山东 dumplings+garlic which is quite delicious. A mini-mart nearby sells fresh fruits as well. Overall, it is a low cost hotel that provides reasonable service.

Got what I paid for.
Cheap night after arriving in Shanghai at midnight. It wasn't too close to the airport. The place is really run down. Halls are just a mess. But for under 30 bucks, it was acceptable.
