The Wifi connection is very very slow; Bath towels are only two for each person; the room is very narrow, and the staff were unresponsive. This hotel can be lower than US 3-star level hotel, rather than its showing 4 stars.
Very clean and modern close to airport for shanghai. Taxi was 46 yuan with three bags two carryons car seat and stroller three people. Many tried to coerce us to use their van service for $400 yuan. Many small restaurants near hotel at chinese prices. Very modern . No complaints. Free shuttle back ...
I first stayed in this Hotel in 2011 and I have never stayed in any other when visiting Shanghai for business. Highly recommended to any one who wants to combine best services with outstanding design and decoration features. The pool, the long bar and the library are top class! The staff is very ...
the room I stayed with no view was in bad shape, for a $250 usd room I was expecting something nicer
Close to the airport, but not many/any western amneties near by. It's good for a layover, and you can't beat the price. The bed is firm, but that's normal for local hotels. Staff is friendly and tries hard. I'd stay here again.
Hotel was nice, pleasant staff. Walk to Nanjing Road is the tourist area, shopping center, subway is right there. Walk about 15 minutes to the Bund, make sure to wear jacket if you go out at night it's cold.
There was heavy cigarette smoke smell in the room, although the hotel claims no smoke for all rooms. The room was hot, and its air conditioner wasn’t working properly for whatever reason.
This hotel is fine if you're not fussy. The location can't beat as it is right on E Nanjing Rd and is halfway between the People's Square metro stop and the Nanjing metro stop. Easy walking distance to the Bund. Elevator is excruciatingly slow. The rooms need a refurb. Our shower curtain had mildew ...
Very nice hotel about 10 km from the international airport. I booked this based on online recommendations and was not disappointed. Nice ambience, good breakfast, friendly staff and the airport shuttle was convenient but it does not run past 11:30 pm. So, we had to take a taxi but that was not too ...
For the price, this hotel is a good choice. The location is ideal and convenient. It has all the basic amenities.
Hotel Equatorial Shanghai is a very nice place to stay. Comfortable bed, nice clean room, friendly staff, and a short walk to the Metro stop.
I enjoyed that the location is very convenient to popular tourist spots like the Shanghai museum, a red route Big Bus spot, the history museum, and lots of restaurants and shopping. The hotel is just behind the Marriott Shanghai City center. It is also convenient to the bus and subway. I'm stressing ...
We had a lot of issues on the room temperature. The staff did not help and did not look for a definite solution. I stayed several days but I could leave the hotel because it was prepaid. I do not recommend it if temperature in Shanghai is above 19 degrees Celsius.
With the price I have paid, I did not expect the accommodation of the hotel, I would rate it with 5 stars.
First I was shocked because my room looked so small ( 190sqf, really??), but after examining it closely, it was clear that despite the fact the building was not brand new, the hotel staff clean and maintain it to the best of their ability. I was shocked that the toilet, sink and shower was in one ...
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to communicate with the staff in English. The facility was very clean and nice. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety to choose from.
I was pleasantly surprised. For what we spent, we got a great deal. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Would definitely stay here again!
Very nice room. The only thing we did not like was that the entire room smelled like smoke. It was difficult to sleep/breathe.
Overall pleasant. Some items they can work on to improve.
Price little expensive , others all good , rooms also good
The carpet was really dirty. The room we got was in odd shape and not enough room for two persons to move around. Booked the hotel with free breakfast, not realizing free for only one person. Purchased additional breakfast for 158 rmb (about $28us). Don’t waste the money here, there are plenty of ...
