“The Fig Tree Hotel was set near to popular coastal amenities and the old Shanklin village with its thanked cottage charm. A conveniently central position for beach and countryside, betwixt Carisbrooke Castle and Osbourne House. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel had three swimming pool, one indoor and two outdoor. My kids really enjoyed the pool. In addition, the included breakfast was delicious. This hotel definitely deserves that we come back.”

“A very lovely, friendly and comfortable hotel. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant food was great. À la carte breakfast was also very good but there was no fruit offered which I was disappointed with. Times were also a little tight from breakfast, dinner, room cleaning and checkout but it was a small hotel so this is understandable. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou.”

“This place is overrated, dated, unclean. Friendly staff but it is quite far from the town centre and it feels more like it is about how you as a customer can help the staff - it is about their needs, not yours as a customer.”

“Nice location. Great breakfast. Comfy lounge bar area. Friendly enough staff. But thebroom....I know it was 27c, we was on the top floor and the room was like a sweat box even with the fan they provided. The window had a safety lock so only opened about 4 inches. It seem like a converted loft to make more space. May have been better on the lower floors? Sorry but didn't sleep well here. .aybe move the safety locks so more fresh air can come in or air condition the top floor is needed?”

“No door key as all digital, had to use phone which is ok but only gives access to 1 person. Shower temperature was luke warm at it's hottest, shower gel dispenser didn't work. Also the air-conditioning didn't work, had to use the fan instead. Room was noisy due to the adjacent pub.”
