Fantastic Hotel , staff and amenities

Cons: not really
Location: Beach....Beach.... Beach.....That is all we wanted
Stayed 10 nights from 31st August and we ( went with my daughters) were treated as VIP by every member of staff that we came into contact with. Beach a few steps from the Hotel. Beautiful views. Massive clean pool with more then plenty of sun beds. Food good and staff went out of their way to meet our Vegetarian needs. To name a few staff who were fantastic..Mohammed from Housekeeping who kept our room spotless ( room 4211). Mohammed and Ahmed in the Bar who were very entertaining. Will definately visit again.

Location: barriera corallina e spiaccia in cui puoi fare semplicemente il bagno adatto a tutti
Spiaggia stupenda facilmente accessibile, personale meraviglioso, cibo sempre vario e di ottima qualità esperienza divertente e da ripetere!

No es un hotel 5*

Pros: Proximidad a la playa e instalaciones exteriores (piscinas, tumbonas, sombrillas, etc).
Cons: Comida del restaurante buffet y restaurantes a la carta del hotel. Limpieza de las mesas del restaurante buffet.
Location: Ubicación alejada del centro de la ciudad, pero en primera linea de playa. Se puede realizar snorkel y buceo desde el mismo hotel.
El Hotel Barceló Tiram en Naqb Bay no se podría considerar un hotel 5*. Puntos desfavorables: - Comida del restaurante buffet muy mejorable y bastante deficiente. Incomparable a otros hoteles de la misma cadena Barcelo en otros paises. - Limpieza del restaurante buffet muy mala. Los empleados no limpian las mesas cuando cambian de comensales. - Los dos restaurantes a la carta que existen en el hotel consisten básicamente en un menu cerrado. No se puede elegir nada a la carta. - No se cumplen las normas de prohibir ir en bañador y descalzo por las zonas comunes interiores del hotel (algunos huespedes comen descalzos y en bañador en el restaurante buffet). - Demasiados rusos hospedados en el hotel. Puntos favorables: - Amplitud de las habitaciones. - Instalaciones exteriores del hotel (piscinas, pistas de football, tumbonas, sombrillas...) - Proximidad a la playa.

À l'arrivée mes oreillers sentaient la transpiration. La clim ne fonctionnait pas. J'ai deux relancer deux jours consécutifs pour que la situation soit rétablie. Le réseau wifi n'était pas dans les parties communes mais juste à proximité immédiate de la réception. Le réseau wifi était de très mauvaise qualité.

Ho soggiornato al Barceló Tiran resort dal 1 al 8 marzo 2015. Nonostante il recente cambio di gestione e la media stagione, mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso il perfetto funzionamento a pieno regime della struttura. Resort di buon gusto, architettura moderna attenta a dettagli caratteristici, atmosfera fresca e rilassante. Nota di merito al confort e pulizia delle stanze, ampie ed ariose, dotate di ogni confort. Altrettanto valida la qualità e varietà del cibo nei 3 ristoranti; meno il servizio, la cortesia e la prontezza dei camerieri. Similmente, la cultura del vino e del "buon bere", per storiche ragioni è limitata e poco valorizzata. Assoluta simpatia ed affetto per l'intero staff della internazionale animazione: dal Congo alla Russia, passando per l'Inghilterra, con amore. Approfitto per salutare tutti coloro che mi hanno viziata e trattata come una regina. La professionalità e grande esperienza del direttore generale, sig. Karim, hanno dato luogo ad un team di spessore in un luogo incantato della costa sud del Sinai. Un caro saluto a voi tutti e lunga vita ad uno dei migliori posti di soggiorno a Sharm. I didn't enjoy my stay. Lots of things went wrong.

I had to move rooms twice as the showers didn't work. The music at the pool and beach was far too loud. There were lots of Russians who kept pushing in to the queue and being really agressive. The food wasn't very good either. And they took about 20 minutes to bring you a drink at the table. Definitely not 5 star. I left and went to another hotel.

good place for Italians

Tiran Sharm hotel has a lot going for it with some excellent and very helpful members of staff - especailly the 'also-rans'. The main problem that you are not informed about in advance is that it is so far out of the main town that it is very expensive to go elsewhere for meals by the time you have added on the two-way taxi fare.The only real option is to go full inclusive from the start - not easy to change once you are there! The hotel is run by an Italian company and the whole focus is Italian - nothing bad in that but it does mean that you need to accept that many of the staff struggle communicating in English. Also the food has a strong Italian bias. The food is of a decent quality, especially for a running buffet-type meal but it is a little too much the same each day. Trip are organised well, but again there is a strong Italian focus in communication. The one thing that I cannot understand is why the hotel has its whole schedule one hour ahead of the rest of the country. It is difficult to work out when events are as sometimes (e.g. flights) you need to work on Egyptian time but at others (e.g. meals, end of bar service etc) you have to work on hotel time - and it is easy to be caught out! Having said all that, the hotel is very well organised and there are a lot of activities if you want and plenty of relaxing pools, sun-space etc. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time within the large, seafronted hotel area and all will be well!

Tiran Sharm Hotel - et italiensk "paradis"

Tiran Sharm Hotel er overtaget af et italiensk firma Valtour og dette betyder at konditionerne for ophold er blevet væsentligt anderledes hvilket Hotels.com skal tage med fremover. Det er nu et all inclusive koncept - og dette gør et ophold bestilt med BB mere end besværligt, hvilket vi mærkede allerede fra dag 1. Hotellet ligger lagt ude og det gør vejen til lokale restaurationer mere end besværligt. Hotellet har ikke restaurationesmuligheder - eller havde de? For efter et par dage fandt vi ud af - dette kun fordi vi mestre det iatlienske sprog - at der var en a la carte restaurant - men med 4 faste menuer: 3 fiske og en kød og er man ikke til fisk fisk er det lidt hårdt at spise den samme kødret hver aften. I forhold til oplysninger mm skulle vi være meget opsøgende og som sagt så mestre personalet egyptisk og italiensk. Italienere elsker at more sig og det skal man være indstillet på - også til langt ude på afttenen og tidlige nat - hvor lyden af havets brusen opløses i et inferno af musik, som synes, som aftenen og natten skrider frem at blive højere og højere. Skal man til Sharm el Sheikh anbefales klart et af byens mange andre hoteller, som kan findes på denne udemærket portal hotels.com hvor vi altid er mere end tilfredse at anvende.
