Great Hotel, just unfortunate planning/timingPosted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: A great welcome and constant warm attention by staff, the staff are obviously happy working for the Four Seasons! The gym is good!
Cons: Planning their routine maintenance more carefully
This is our 4th visit to the hotel. The staff are great and growing in awareness and attention to detail around diet restrictions - they managed to work around a gluten free diet very well this time. In general the staff are extremely professional and genuinely warm and friendly. The hotel itself is in lovely condition and the grounds are very impressive. The issue that we had with this visit was putting us in an apartment adjacent to several that were going through major refurbishment. I realize that ongoing maintenance needs to happen to keep the hotel up to the high standard that they have set, but having builders, the smell of paint, and vehicles/workers coming and going from early morning until evening was not great. The hotel was probably no more than 25% occupied so I really don't understand why they could not plan the apartments used for guests to be away from these disturbances? This unfortunate circumstance would not put me off booking again at the hotel; I just hope that their management is monitoring this kind of feedback and take steps to improve their approach to planning.

beautiful hotel & food and kind & helpful staffPosted Dec 24, 2014
Pros: Great with children (ours ages 4 & 6). My son is gluten/dairy intolerant and the chef provided gluten free pasta, pizza and bread everyday no problem.
Cons: the price of the food was very high
Location: loved the camel trek into the desert with the Bedouins
felt very safe, the hotel entertainment and themed evenings were top notch and the staff was really kind and helpful. Staff were great with kids and the kids club was not rejected by our 4 and 6 year olds like at many other resorts.

almost faultlessPosted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: Location, quality of accommodation, lovely gardens, quality of service.
Cons: The quality of the food for the prices charged. Michelin 2 star prices for no star quality ( with a few exceptions). Bottle of water 8 UK pounds.
Location: You won't want to go out of the resort, its so nice. Water sports great if expensive.
If you want a wonderful place to stay, almost without fault, then this is the place. the resort and gardens are a tropical paradise, especially at night. I can't describe how magical the place is, except to compare it to the magic of disneyland minus the crowds. Service is truly impeccable, making you feel like a VIP. The only thing you need to be aware of is the price of food at the restaurants versus the standard of cooking. For example, the meal we had at the arabesque was OK but didn't have the true flavours of the middle east, a bit bland. The Reef grill was great, with good fresh seafood, lobster etc. and steaks. Half a lobster worked out at about 25 UK pounds. a meal for three including a bottle of the cheapest wine was nearly 200 uk pounds. make allowances for these prices. We went during the autumn UK half-term so the resort was full. You have to get up at 7.00 to get a sun chair before the rush. WE'll be back again, but hopefully out of peak times.

Superb hotel, excellent servicePosted Aug 18, 2014 on Hotels
This is one of the finest hotels I've stayed in. It's architecturally wonderful, and the gardens are stunning. The staff are excellent, and the food is great. Yes, it's expensive, but it's a Four Seasons. The only problem is that the rest of Sharm looks pretty awful in comparison.

Outstanding levels of customer service.Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: The staff were amazing - just couldn't do enough for us. The room was immaculate, pools spotless. Airport transfer 10 mins - the cherry on the cake!
Location: Superb scuba diving and snorkelling, trips on a glass bottomed boat.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh, they went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful short break. The hotel was only half full for our 3 night break but service was tip top and cost of the holiday incredibly good value for a stay in June (their low season) with plenty of shaded areas around the pools during the high midday temperatures. We will definitely be returning.

Our 4th Visit.Posted Jun 4, 2014 on Hotels
Honestly just book it. Simply the best hotel in Sharm. Staff treat you like royalty. Food was amazing. Soho square within 5 mins walk. If you are considering visiting, trust me you won't be disappointed.
