“The staff was great. The room was clean. The pool was not maintained at all. It looked as if it had not been cleaned for a while.”

“Everything was clean and newly refurbished. I had a non smoking room and it did have the faint odor of smokers in the past. Some Lysol spray fixed that. The location is close to the very cute downtown and restaurants etc. my only annoyance was some very loud people in the very early morning. It is really a 5 star for the price. The pet fee is 20.”

“Room was clean, bedding was comfortable, BUT --- the AC unit sounded like a jet engine getting ready to start down the runway - I expected to hear at anytime the captain saying to fasten your seatbelts! No matter what setting I put it on, when it cycled on it sounded like a jet engine preparing for takeoff. Then the refrigerator started dumping ice and the water would refill for the next drop. I finally got up at 1:30 am to figure out how to turn the icemaker off, but continued to lay in……

“Problem after problem at this hotel: Night one (of four) a wall next to our bed started smelling like burning and by the next morning we had found that the lamp plugged into it was charred and the faceplate on the outlet had burned and melted. The carpet was wet in our tv room from a leaking dehumidifier. The maintenance guy came and shop-vac'ed the carpet but didn't swap the dehumidifier so by that evening it was soaking wet again. We put it in the hallway and then requested they swap it again.……

“I really think that the hotel needs update. Staff was friendly. They were stains on the lamp sheets of my room water pressure, sucked”

“Turned on light in bathroom and a cockroach was crawling up the wall behind the vanity mirror. The breakfast was lackluster…biscuits, gravy, Belgium waffle stand, yoghurt and oatmeal. No eggs or sausage or bacon and no bread for toast.”
