"We go every year about this time and it's great. Staying here gives you permission to park across the street and have passes to the beach at the community of million $ homes. SWEET. They shared that while the summer was good the fall has been awful. I blame the Orange Failure in our white house for scaring everyone away!"

"The house was located on a 4 x 4 only beach, which would have been fine if we had been informed prior to our arrival about the conditions to expect and the proper way to navigate them. We arrived after dark, during high tide, with inflated tires. We should have been told to watch the tide charts because the beach becomes impassable at high tide. We were not, and barely made it to our turn off because it was a shortly after high tide. We should have been told about letting the air out of the tires to make driving on the beach doable, which we were not. This resulted in us getting stuck in the sand and a costly towing bill. We were advised against driving the beach at night by the tow truck driver who said it was very dangerous if you were unfamiliar with the beach. There are many hazards that could have ruined our vehicle if we hit one, luckily we didn’t. The constant monitoring and worrying over high tide and our schedule made for a miserable trip. We were obviously not from the area and consider it negligent that the leasing company did not give us any information other than we needed a four wheel drive vehicle. "
